Adam as a Child” is a poignant story reimagining the dawn of mankind as God breathes life not into a grown man, but a tiny infant

News Image

Larry Judd is a US Army veteran and father of two grown children who has taught adult Sunday school and Bible study classes, has worked as an administrator in missions for single mothers and the homeless currently living near his daughter in Falling Waters, West Virginia. He has published his new book “Addie: Adam as a Child”: a touching short story highlighting the eternal love of God for his creation.

The author shares, “Addie came about as a result of my asking the question ‘Why do theologians, pastors, teachers, etc., think Adam was created as a full-grown man?’ No one had a good answer, and the truth is, we don’t know because the Bible just does not tell us. So I was encouraged by a close friend to write a story as to what it might have been like if he was indeed created as a baby like all the rest of humanity, including Jesus. So I did.”

Published by Page Publishing, Larry Judd’s engrossing book is a thought-provoking work offering a fresh perspective on the origin story of humanity.

Readers who wish to experience this engaging work can purchase “Addie: Adam as a Child” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.

Heather Tuttle’s newly released “With My Hand in His” is an enlightening read about journeys of tribulation and God’s endless miracles.

News Image

“With My Hand in His”: a captivating memoir of one’s fulfilling life of battling several adversities yet finding a personal relationship with the Savior. “With My Hand in His” is the creation of published author Heather Tuttle, a licensed clinical social worker. She works as a psychotherapist and currently resides in Hawaii.

Tuttle shares, “When I was experiencing my first semesters of college, the professors would hand out a syllabus outlining what would be expected of me to accomplish in class throughout that semester. As I read through each one, my heart would pound, and my hands would sweat as I felt my inadequacy in meeting the requirements for the class. I saw that I clearly lacked the knowledge, experience, and skills to be successful, and it made me want to turn and run from the classroom. However, with time, I learned that by the time each assignment was due, I had been given what I needed in order to successfully meet those requirements, no matter the difficulty.

“I believe Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us, a syllabus of sorts. Part of his plan includes facing unimaginable trials, things we would exclaim we could never do, never endure. It is with and through these challenges that if we allow, God grows and strengthens us, giving us power to endure and making us more than we thought we could be. Each challenge acts as a springboard, which moves us to another level of ability in forgiveness, patience, faith, empathy, gratitude, humility, prayer, and so many more attributes and skills.

“This book contains my stories of trial, faith, and miracles in my son Jonah’s fight to live and heal after a life-threatening traumatic brain injury, which left him in a coma. It also contains those earlier experiences of my life that the Lord used to build my abilities to endure, strengthen my relationship with Him, and teach me how He moves and communicates with me in my life.

“Whoever said God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle was so very wrong! We are given many things we couldn’t possibly endure without our Heavenly Father walking beside us, guiding us, and strengthening us to bear those things we couldn’t possibly imagine we could. These stories are of my very profound and tender walk with the Lord with my hand in His.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Heather Tuttle’s new book accounts the beautiful true-to-life story of an individual who gladly took the Lord’s hand in hers as He walked with her throughout life’s most difficult battles.

The Human-First Employment Platform With Job Matching Technology Launches For People With Disabilities

Inclusively, a human-first employment platform built by the disability community to connect candidates with disabilities to inclusive companies and careers, is excited to announce its recent launch on October 13, 2020. Inclusively’s proprietary job matching technology gives candidates with disabilities the power to customize their job search utilizing ‘Success Enablers’ (also known as workplace accommodations). Examples include assistive technologies (vision and hearing), telework/remote work, worksite accessibility, service/emotional support animals, modified methods, assistive services, modified work schedules, and job restructuring.

Candidates with disabilities can filter and search for jobs based on their personalized workplace needs and connect with some of the world’s top companies, including Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, EY and Charles Schwab. In addition to the job platform, Inclusively provides a customer success team that guides candidates and employers through the hiring process and employer training to ensure the success of the placements being made.

Out of the 50 million working-age Americans with a disability, only 29% participate in the workforce compared to the 75% without a disability and Inclusively is working to change that*.

Director of Accessibility at Microsoft, Neil Barnett shares, “At Microsoft we want to change the unemployment rate for People with Disabilities. It is vital to connect employers with potential candidates and we look forward to supporting these initiatives in the future. As a founding member of the Autism @ Work Roundtable we acknowledge that introducing employers to talent with disabilities has never been as important as it is now.”

Co-Founder of Inclusively, Charlotte Dales, was inspired to create this platform by her cousin, Cameron Northup, who became the first licensed aesthetician in Florida with Down syndrome. Dales shares, “There is a complete disconnect between the talent and potential that people with disabilities have, versus the opportunities they have access to. This company was born to close that gap. Our mission is to provide employees with disabilities the same opportunities to grow, succeed, and advance as employees without disabilities.”

Head of Inclusive Design & Accessibility at Wunderman Thompson and Inclusively Advisor, Christina Mallon says, “As a person with a disability, I’ve always been so frustrated about the job search process. I joined Inclusively because I knew it was the solution to solving this problem. It is the connection that was always missing from my job search.”

Candidates can join the Inclusively network to start connecting with employers who value the talents and viewpoints that people with disabilities bring to the workplace. Visit http://www.inclusively.com to get started and learn more about getting involved. Inclusively is a virtual company with employees based in Richmond, VA and is expected to expand to St. Louis, MO in the near future.
