New Release is an Inspiring Faith-Filled Memoir About One Man’s Hardships and How He Was Healed by the Lord

News Image

“I’ve wanted to write my testimony for many years, but I couldn’t figure out the best way to share it,” Gary said. “I chose to share the stories from my life and follow each one with a practical application, to encourage other Christians to open themselves up to similar encounters with the Lord.”

Does God still heal today as he did when Jesus was alive? Many Christians struggle with this question, and T. Ethan Gary hopes his story will help others see the truth.

In “Blessings, Trials, and Miracles,” by T. Ethan Gary, readers are provided an autobiographical look at Gary’s journey and his description of how God delivered and healed him through several hardships. In 2008, Gary was in a terrifying horse accident. While the doctor’s prognosis was grim, Gary claims the Lord restored him physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The many declarations in this book are provided to give encouragement to others and provide reassurance that God will deliver and heal them, as well.

“I’ve wanted to write my testimony for many years, but I couldn’t figure out the best way to share it,” Gary said. “After being motivated by another writer, I chose to share the stories from my life and follow each one with a practical application, to encourage other Christians to open themselves up to similar encounters with the Lord.”

The book is broken down into several stories, detailing a difficult time in the authors life, and how his trust in God helped him to recover. At the end of each chapter, Gary reveals the different types of healing God can provide, including forgiveness, revelations and loving others.

New book Do You Believe? tells of one man’s journey to an all-in faith where God keeps working miracles

Trilogy Christian Publishers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trinity Broadcasting Network, has announced the release of “Do You Believe?” by Rich Mason, who uses his personal story to give his answer to life’s most important question. The book is available on Amazon, from booksellers, and from http://www.Rich-Mason.com.

More than 25 years ago, Rich Mason was not sure God existed and did not have any expectations of him. But when he made a resolution to help wayward children after the first schoolyard shooting that he heard of, some extraordinarily unlikely events occurred. He calls them miracles. They got his attention and caused him to start searching to see if God really exists.

Rich Mason is a private equity investor, angel investor and former entrepreneur, having started four companies, including one ministry. He has held positions with Intel Corporation, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, and Mindspeed Technologies. He was the President and Founder of Alpha Fiber. Rich earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of South Florida and has worked in technology and business for thirty-seven years. With homes in both Tampa, Florida, and Hillsboro, Oregon, Rich is connected with multiple churches and is active in serving ministries and small group studies.

Rich was not accepting the existence of God easily. He read books, thought deeply, and challenged the evidence on both sides. He visited churches. He read the Bible. He considered prophecies and how they have been fulfilled. Rich’s story recounts the journey that led him ultimately to belief.

In the book, Rich writes, “After careful investigation, I found what I needed: the Bible is the full story and the evidence for Christ is overwhelmingly convincing! That’s just the written part of what I found. Remember that this God is whispering stuff to me at the same time. And I really want to hear His whisper, so I’m listening intently. Carefully. There’s a spiritual side to all of this; there’s more than just what we can see with our eyes. And in my spirit, God is communicating with me. And He also orchestrates events, people, places, and things!”

Joseph John, D.D., a pastor, said, “Rich Mason has written what I would call a very powerful challenge to believers in Christianity to hunger and thirst after the life God wants His followers to really live. Through his journey of seeking God, Rich reveals the three areas most Christians fail at: (1) really searching for truth by reading the Scriptures; (2) talking with God and listening for His voice talking back; (3) obeying unequivocally what the Lord calls a believer to do even if it seems difficult. The reader will be challenged by Rich’s personal journey with God. I couldn’t put the book down.”

Rich Mason’s latest business venture is founding a new private equity firm called Alpha Kingdom Capital (http://www.alphakingdomcapital.com), which will fund Christian companies that operate using wise Biblical principles, to encourage Christ-like working and living. Two investment funds are already open, one called the AKC Opportunity Zone Fund I, investing in a diversified portfolio of residential and commercial real estate in Qualified Opportunity Zones. The other open fund is the AKC Technology Innovation Disruption Fund I, which seeks to invest in early-stage technology innovation and disruption companies.

Apostle Samuel Fatoki’s newly released “The Power for Living” is a compelling discussion of scripture and ways to incorporate God into one’s everyday life

News Image

“The Power for Living”: a potent reminder of the strength one can draw from dedicated faith. “The Power for Living” is the creation of published author Apostle Samuel Fatoki a loving husband and father who was born in Lagos, Nigeria. At an early age, his exceptional basketball skills and academic abilities earned him a basketball scholarship to the United States. Fatoki graduated from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico, with an associate of arts degree in business administration. He later received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of the District of Columbia and soon furthered his education by securing both master’s and doctorate degrees in theology from Canon Bible Institute in Florida.

Apostle Fatoki shares, “A life without power is a life of misery and woes.

“A look at the arsenal of a warrior will show you the confidence of victory that he has in battle. Other than the skills of the warrior and his battle strategies, one factor which determines whether he is a victor or a vanquished at battle is his armory. Funny as it sounds, it has been recorded that law enforcement agents in some lands flee into the bush when bandits appear because the bandits overwhelm the law keepers with their armory.

“The book Power for Living is Apostle Samuel’s charge to all believers to be filled with power for day-to-day operations of man’s life.

“You will find a lot of scriptures in this book, for there is power in the word of God. As many of the scriptures you can make personal to yourself (either through memorization or, better still, constant confession), I encourage you to pursue it with keen interest.

“Moreover, there is a section given to praying at the end of each chapter. The section is labeled ‘Praying Points’ because it is an activity section: give time to pray! The content of each chapter should encourage you to partake in that activity to complete the blessings that God wants to impart to you through the chapter.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Apostle Samuel Fatoki’s new book will challenge and encourage believers from any background.

Apostle Fatoki shares in hopes of empowering others on their spiritual walk to trust in God and his plan.

Consumers can purchase “The Power for Living” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.

A Christian Perspective On Emotional And Mental Wellness” is a compassionate approach to total wellness

News Image

“From Healing To Wholeness: A Christian Perspective On Emotional And Mental Wellness”: an uplifting message of hope for those struggling with mental health. “From Healing To Wholeness: A Christian Perspective On Emotional And Mental Wellness” is the creation of published author Ebony Hudson, a dedicated wife, a loving mother, and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who has worked in the field of social work for twenty years in various settings, including hospital, mental health, hospice, and individual therapy. She obtained her BSW from Seton Hall University and her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. She provides biblically based mental health therapy in the State of South Carolina.

Hudson shares, “From past traumas to current crises to the healing needed for the daily bumps and bruises of life, we can no longer view our mental health outside of our Christian faith. The story in Luke 17 tells us that after one of the lepers that Jesus healed returned to Him, he was told that his faith has made him whole. This book discusses how we as Christians can be healed and made whole in the area of our emotional and mental health. This book identifies specific steps that can be taken to begin and continue on the path of healing and toward wholeness. It will also examine lessons we can learn from individuals in the Bible who struggled with mental and emotional issues despite their relationship with God. This book seeks to help the reader fight the good fight of faith in the area of mental and emotional health and gives hope that with God, all things truly are possible.

“In a selfie-driven society that depends on the current culture to determine norms and wellness, this book returns the believer to the foundation of the Christian faith—the Bible and the power of God to do what seems impossible. In these pages is a message of hope that is desperately needed in the lives of individuals during these trying times. Our mental and emotional health are important to God, and it should be important to everyone within the kingdom of God. Our struggles in this area do not represent weakness, but instead, they remind us that in this life, we will have trials and tribulations, yet we have been assured that we have a Savior who has overcome the world, and as we depend on Him for healing, we can be healed and made whole.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Ebony Hudson’s new book is a thoughtful message of God’s promise that explores both the personal and the spiritual.

Hudson shares in hopes of aiding others to find balance and growth through determined, active faith.

Consumers can purchase “From Healing To Wholeness: A Christian Perspective On Emotional And Mental Wellness” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.

Rufus McDowell, Jr., D. Min.’s newly released “You Have Victory in the Word” is a reflective testament to God’s Word

News Image

“You Have Victory in the Word: Overcoming Difficult Issues in Your Life through the Word of God”: a potent reminder of the importance of having a strong spiritual life. “You Have Victory in the Word: Overcoming Difficult Issues in Your Life through the Word of God” is the creation of published author Rufus McDowell, Jr., D. Min., a native of Griffin, Georgia, and United States Army veteran who received his AAS in management and bachelor’s degree in health care administration from Wayland Baptist University.

McDowell shares, “‘But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ’ (1 Corinthians 15:57).

“The call and urgency for people to accept Jesus Christ as Lord is paramount for a victorious and abundant lifestyle. This book is designed to provide you with information that will be helpful and insightful in your intimacy and walk with Christ. From my own encounters through adversities, I have realized that it is utmost meaningful and significant to study the Bible and apply its truths in every situation and circumstance regarding mundane events of daily life.

“During my Christian journey, I grasped how much believers need an example and ministerial help when undergoing trials and difficulty. Resultant from years of conducting pastoral ministry and counseling others, I determined that many do not know the Word of God nor the promises that are available to them. Thus, I began to preach and teach ‘You Have Victory in the Word.’ The Spirit gave me revelation that all of life’s issues are addressed in the Bible. Simply put, I discovered that the Holy Spirit is not constricted to the pages of scriptures, but He wants to provide every believer with principles that will aid them to be successful in spite of the storms of life. This book will help you navigate the torrential and hammering degrees of life’s challenging moments.

“Finally, the Bible describes in clear and unmistakable language how we should react to the Word of God in all its different forms. We must eagerly hear God’s Word and let it be our joy and delight. We must accept what the Word of God says, hide it deep within our hearts, trust in it, and put our hope in its promises.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Rufus McDowell, Jr., D. Min.’s new book will inspire and encourage readers in their walk of faith.

McDowell shares in hopes of empowering others to lean into God’s Word to find strength during the valleys of life.

Winnie-the-Pooh Makes Kickstarter Projects More Accessible

The Winnie-the-Pooh Project

“We are producing both a full-length video and audiobook with audio description of the pictures for children who are blind or low vision and captions and sign language for children who are deaf or have hearing challenges.”Richard Rieman, Founder and CEO, Imagination Videobooks

“The Winnie-the-Pooh Project” advocated for Kickstarter’s new ALT TEXT feature, and it will be the first Kickstarter project ever to use it. Crowdfunding project creators can now have full image descriptions for blind and low vision visitors. Kickstarter has always had the option to add captions, but not alt text.

THE DIFFERENCE

This is how having alt text helps blind readers using screen readers to read a page out loud

Caption: Making Winnie-the-Pooh Accessible to blind and deaf children

Alt Text: Images of Pooh as he floats under a blue balloon next to bees, Piglet walks with a big heart in his hands, and Pooh steadies Piglet as he reaches for a prickly pear in a pear tree. The words are “Making Winnie-the-Pooh Accessible to Blind and Deaf Children.”

The Pooh Project is raising money to make the original 1926 Winnie-the-Pooh book FULLY ACCESSIBLE to blind and deaf children. Project Creator Richard Rieman and his Kickstarter Consultant, Lisa Ferland, reached out to Kickstarter’s Director of Publishing, who replied that the alt text feature has been in development and the Winnie-the-Pooh Project will be the first campaign to include it.

Richard says, “We are producing both a full-length video and audiobook with audio description of the pictures for children who are blind or low vision and captions and sign language for children who are deaf or have hearing challenges.”

“Pooh is the perfect project for us because the characters all have their differences and are still very lovable. It is very special that half of our cast members are voice actors who are themselves blind or low vision,” says Richard, who is the Founder and CEO of Imagination Videobooks, which has made over 100 children’s picture books accessible to all children.

About the Winnie-the-Pooh Project

“The Winnie-the-Pooh Project” is one of Kickstarter’s “Projects We Love.” All Pooh lovers now have the chance to help create a full-length Winnie-the-Pooh video and audiobook that is described, captioned, and signed with American Sign Language interpretation on-screen.

About Richard Rieman, Project Creator

Richard Rieman, “The Audiobook Wizard,” is Founder and CEO of Imagination Videobooks and an acclaimed authority on audio and video self-publishing. He has narrated and produced hundreds of Indie-published audiobooks. He is the author of the Global eBook Awards Gold Medal Winner in Writing/Publishing, “The Author’s Guide to Audiobook Creation.”

About Kickstarter

Kickstarter is an American public benefit corporation based in Brooklyn, New York, that maintains a global crowdfunding platform focused on creativity. The company’s stated mission is to “help bring creative projects to life”.

Rev. Eldore F. Messerschmidt’s newly released “Yesterday’s Sermons for Today’s World” is a compilation of weekly sermons that follow the Lutheran Church Calendar Year

News Image

“Yesterday’s Sermons for Today’s World”: an educational anthology for those who are unable to attend church or those who need inspiration. “Yesterday’s Sermons for Today’s World” is the creation of published author Rev. Eldore F. Messerschmidt, a father, husband and pastor who devoted his entire life to religious studies and sharing the word of God with those who needed it most.

Rev. Messerschmidt shared, “One of the most profound and blessed truths ever put into human language is the short, three-word sentence; “God is love.” It is as impossible for God not to love as it is for the sun not to shine. Love comes out from God as radiance comes out from the sun. God is love through and through; love is His very essence. If God were not that kind of God, no man on earth would have a chance. To know that God is holy and just would drive us to madness if we could not also know that He is Love.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Rev. Eldore F. Messerschmidt’s new book shares the hope and promise that each day can be one to live for in the eyes of God. While the sermons may have been composed over fifty years ago, the message is the same and pertains to what is happening in the world today.

Consumers can purchase “Yesterday’s Sermons for Today’s World” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.
