Judy Hood’s newly released “But for the Grace of God Go I” offers readers a collection of inspired writings that celebrate God

News Image

“But for the Grace of God Go I”: a thoughtful and engaging collection of faith-based writings. “But for the Grace of God Go I” is the creation of published author Judy Hood, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Hood shares, “This book summary may sound a little strange, but it is very true.

“It came about a night while I was sleeping. Satan started coming to me in my dreams. He told me if I would write down everything he told me, he would make me as rich as someone we all know. (I will not tell their name. I don’t want to make anyone mad.) Anyway, I ignored Satan that night and went back to sleep, but he did tell me that the name of the book would be The Mirror in the House.

“Well, the next night while I was sleeping, Satan came to me again in my dreams. Again, he told me if I would write down everything he said, he would make me as rich as someone we all know. The name of the book will be The Mirror in the House. He said it will be published as a book and will become a movie. That night, I did speak. I told him if I’m ever to get rich, it will be through my Lord. Satan left me and never came back.

“Then one day, I was sitting in my chair in the living room when this feeling came all over me. I yelled, ‘Quick, get me a pen and paper.’ I could not write fast enough. That’s when God gave me my first song with the tune. The name of the song is ‘Up.’ He gave me several songs with the tunes since. Then he changed them to poems. God is my Savior, my Father, my King. God is my everything! Life would be so useless without God.

“God says in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), ‘“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”’”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Judy Hood’s new book will inspire and encourage as readers reflect on the biblically-based messages within.

Hood shares in hopes of empowering others to spend time considering God’s word and enjoying the promise of His love.

Hans Mowrey’s newly released “The Day I Saw God” is a powerful story of one man’s journey of faith and a sudden realization that would change everything

News Image

“The Day I Saw God”: a potent reminder of God’s determination to reach everyone. “The Day I Saw God” is the creation of published author Hans Mowrey, a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Mowrey shares, “How would you react if someone told you they had seen God? The Scripture immediately comes to mind that no one may see God and live. What if that means that to see God, you must first die? If you are a believer, the Scripture says that you were crucified with Christ, and it is no longer you that live but Christ who lives in you. Could it be that God desires to show himself to all who believe? In this book, The Day I Saw God, a man lays out the experience he had with God and what it has meant to him and his life so far. The life-altering experience is an invitation for each believer to experience more of God. With God, there is always more. The hope of the author is that every person who reads this account will have an increased appetite for the things that God has prepared for the believer. Scripture says that God has prepared good works for us to do since before the foundation of the world. We need to experience more of God to be able to accomplish these things. They will not be accomplished by human knowledge, wisdom, or understanding. We must have the godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to accomplish all that God desires for us to do. We must be baptized in His fire, which is His passion, to set us ablaze for the work we are called to accomplish. It is the sincere hope of the author that this book is anointed and will bring each reader face-to-face with the loving God who loves each of us more than we can imagine.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Hans Mowrey’s new book will inspire and motivate readers to take time for reflection and listen for God’s messages.

Mowrey shares a compelling story that is certain to resonate with many as they consider the powerful spiritual message within.

Consumers can purchase “The Day I Saw God” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.

A Journey of Faith to Freedom and Victory” presents readers with a rich message of faith

News Image

“All I Asked for Was a little Faith: A Journey of Faith to Freedom and Victory”: a story of hope and the unexpected lessons that arrive during times of great challenge. “All I Asked for Was a little Faith: A Journey of Faith to Freedom and Victory” is the creation of published author Alicia Patterson, a dedicated mother and grandmother who was born and raised in Illinois and later relocated to Indiana.

Patterson shares, “You know the saying ‘Be careful what you ask for?’ All I Asked for Was a Little Faith details the transformative journey this request took me on over the course of several years. What I thought would be a simple request has turned out to be a lifetime journey. Oftentimes, we ask for things from God without fully knowing or considering exactly what it is that we are asking for. Well, know this, faith is not faith until it has been tested. Faith is a gift that is tried and forged in the fire of God’s love. It is a gift that requires processes, and I had no idea of the trials and tribulations that come along with the process of receiving this gift. Like anything that is planted, faith must be planted and then cultivated for it to grow. As you take this journey with me, my prayer is that sharing both the joys and pitfalls I encountered on my walk down the path of faith to freedom will help you in your journey to freedom and victory. You are not alone on this journey, and my hope is that some of the unnecessary difficulties I faced will be a teaching tool to help you to avoid those same mistakes in your walk. Lord, if but one…your will be done.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Alicia Patterson’s new book welcomes readers from all walks of life to witness a journey of faith in hopes of bringing encouragement to those in need.

Patterson pulls no punches as she discusses the struggles of being a young mother, run-ins with the law, and the unexpected answered prayers that await.

Consumers can purchase “All I Asked for Was a little Faith: A Journey of Faith to Freedom and Victory” at traditional brick & mortar bookstores, or online at Amazon.com, Apple iTunes store, or Barnes and Noble.

After high school, he joined the Air Force and retired after twenty-two years
