“She Let God Write Her Story”: an enjoyable story of family connection and God’s blessings. “She Let God Write Her Story” is the creation of published author Yelena Borichevska.

Borichevska shares, “The story of a young girl who moved from Ukraine to the United States shortly after 9/11. The story of how a girl’s desire to please God and choose his will for her life put her through trials and challenges of life.

“Yelena was born and raised in Rivne, Ukraine, and moved to America’s Vancouver when she was almost seventeen. Yelena has always considered herself blessed beyond limits because of being raised by her God-loving and God-fearing parents. She considers her parents, siblings, friends, and every individual that touched her life as the greatest gifts from the most generous God. She has always been passionate about doing everything for God’s glory and choosing his will for her life. Lena strongly believes that believing in God’s perfect salvation plan through Jesus and having a personal close relationship with God can get anyone through any challenges and trials in life. Plus the believing offers the greatest hope for an amazing eternity. She also believes that trials are an integral part of anyone’s life allowed by God for us to grow and exercise trust and dependence on him as he desires to be our greatest resource, helper, and advocate, which he achieves through the Holy Spirit. If we let him.

“Yelena has been married to her husband, Vitaliy, since 2008. She loves being a mom to her daughter Ashley. She has two brothers, five sisters, thirteen nephews, and six nieces.

“For over a decade, Yelena worked in the local health care, where she poured her love and skills into patients and coworkers. She runs a successful real estate business, which rewards her with happy clients and finances she can generously share with those in need (as she always dreamed) and is working on reaching other dreams and goals that God has carved in her heart.

“Yelena loves spending time with her family, travelling, being in nature, rollerblading, reading, and impacting others in a positive way. Even if it is just giving them her smile.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Yelena Borichevska’s new book will take readers firsthand into the life of a young woman freshly immigrated to the United States.

Borichevska brings readers a message of hope and positivity as she recounts personal experiences through life’s challenges and victories.

“It Takes Two”: a heartfelt autobiographical work. “It Takes Two” is the creation of published author Sherman Bishop, a loving husband who grew up in Cloverdale, Virginia, a small town northeast of Roanoke in Southwest Virginia. After high school, he joined the Air Force and retired after twenty-two years

It began with his air force career, his first girlfriend, then finding his relationship with God, which gave his life structure and led him to meet his first wife. It also includes their travels in the military and raising two children. In 1980, Sherman lost his first wife of fourteen years. The loss was devastating and just about took his life. After six months, he met his second wife, got married, and adopted her two children. As a team, they finished his air force career and worked at the ministry while stationed in Austin, Texas. K-LOVE On Demand’s “Empty Stage with Andrew Greer” Debuts with Hitmaker Tasha Layton

Tasha Layton (left) and Andrew Greer chat on the set of “Empty Stage.”

“Allowing viewers to stream compelling television like ‘Empty Stage’ for free, enjoying the probing questions of faith and life and the detailed answers the format provides—all completely uninterrupted by ads or pop-ups—is the ultimate goal of K-LOVE On Demand.” —Steve Gilreath, K-LOVE On Demand

Continuing its mission to offer audiences a variety of compelling new ways to connect with today’s top Christian artists, K-LOVE On Demand—the powerhouse radio network’s free video streaming service—presents the highly anticipated new series “Empty Stage with Andrew Greer.” The debut episode, featuring an exclusive glimpse into the life of singer/songwriter and #1 hitmaker Tasha Layton, is now available.

Layton, whose hope-filled hits “Into the Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK)” and “Look What You’ve Done” have made her one of the fastest rising stars in Christian music this decade, sat down with Greer to discuss a range of topics, including the restoration of her faith following a season of doubt; her years on the road with pop superstar Katy Perry; and the art of joyfully juggling her work/life balance. In addition to the deeply personal conversation, Layton shared a stirring acoustic performance of her anthemic new single “How Far,” the title-cut from her recently released BEC Recordings debut.

“’Empty Stage’ is an exciting leap forward for K-LOVE On Demand,” says Steve Gilreath, supervising producer, K-LOVE On Demand. “Our vision to explore the hearts of artists behind the scenes has been captured by Andrew Greer, a rare breed of interviewer. His time with Tasha revealed new facets of her captivating life story while putting his hosting talents on full display.”

“As a kid growing up in Texas, attending as many concerts as I could, I was ever-fascinated by the behind-the-music motivations of the artists performing onstage—their stories and what made them tick,” shares Greer, who serves as host, director and co-producer of “Empty Stage.” “When the crowds are gone, the applause has died down, the lights have faded, and all that remains in that space is a person and their Creator, who is that artist then. Hopefully the conversation that transpires between us on that empty stage can be the beginning of a new inspiration and some new conversations for viewers in their own circumference of community.”

Up next, “Empty Stage with Andrew Greer” is set to spotlight the iconic CeCe Winans, one of the best-selling and most awarded female Gospel artists of all time. Winans’ episode will be available July 7 via K-LOVE On Demand.

“Allowing viewers to stream compelling television like ‘Empty Stage’ for free, enjoying the probing questions of faith and life and the detailed answers the format provides—all completely uninterrupted by ads or pop-ups—is the ultimate goal of K-LOVE On Demand,” Gilreath adds.

Executive produced by Bill Reeves, David Pierce and Jim Houser, “Empty Stage with Andrew Greer” is produced by April Dace and co-produced by Chris Cameron, Andrew Greer and Jessica Grow. The series is directed by Greer, with Steve Gilreath serving as supervising producer for K-LOVE On Demand.

Dawn Rennhack’s newly released “My Walk with Jesus” is an engaging memoir that follows the highs and lows of life through a lens of faith

News Image

“My Walk with Jesus”: a thoughtful reflection on the valleys and victories of a life lived in faith. “My Walk with Jesus” is the creation of published author Dawn Rennhack, a dedicated wife and loving mother to beloved adult children.

Rennhack shares, “My Walk with Jesus is an inspirational walk through the author’s life trials and tribulations. The stories are riveting and, best of all, there is always an encouraging statement of how faith and prayer were the way the author made it through and how we, the readers, can as well.

“It is amazing how when one looks back on the events of life, we see how God’s presence carried us through. Faith is a universal theme in the book as well as a theme in life in general. Without faith, it is difficult to imagine how the ups and downs of life could be tolerable. The author makes the point over and over again about how her faith got her through great trials in her life.

“The power of prayer is also evident in this book. How many parents have not had the moment when you just have to leave the room? The power of a few moments of prayer impacts both the parent and the child. It gives the frustrated parent the opportunity to breath and redirect frustration to prayer, and it impacts the child who benefits with a parent who’s a bit calmer and more centered.

“Many resources are included throughout this self-help/inspirational book that will be terrific for the reader who is on the search for ways to better navigate life. The Bible is such a dynamic, living book that teachings and verses within its covers can help us out of any situation. It also reminds us that God is ultimately in charge and He has the strength and endurance we lack at times.

“Best of all, My Walk with Jesus lets the reader know that they are not alone in finding difficulties navigating life’s roller coasters. There are people there in the same boat so to speak. The term that it takes a village sometimes is real. Sharing our experiences like we see in this book can become our village to help us through the tough times.

“Fantastic work! Well worth the read and the resources included. -Laurie Thomas”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dawn Rennhack’s new book offers an encouraging message to readers of any background that through faith and prayer, anything is possible.

Rennhack offers a powerful message of hope within the pages of this emotionally charged autobiographical work.

Universal Life Church Declares Victory in Ongoing Lawsuit Against Pennsylvania

Shield and laurels logo of the Universal Life Church Ministries

The order states that any government practice that would deny or discourage the Universal Life Church and its ministers from solemnizing legal marriages would violate the 1st and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

The Universal Life Church Ministries (ULCM) declared victory this week as it celebrated the successful settlement of a lawsuit it had filed against Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. In its suit, the ULCM alleged that Allegheny County officials and employees had repeatedly denied the ability of its ministers to solemnize legal marriages in the county.

In an order published late Monday, June 6, 2022, Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania entered a final judgment and order in Case No. 2:21-cv-618. The order states that any government practice that would deny or discourage the Universal Life Church and its ministers from solemnizing legal marriages would violate the 1st and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

He further ordered that Allegheny County must ensure that its employees are trained properly to understand that they must not reject the ordinations of Universal Life Church ministers or deny or discourage these ministers from solemnizing legal marriages.

The settlement and published order represent a major victory for the Universal Life Church and its ministers across Pennsylvania, where in recent years the ability of ULCM ministers to solemnize legal religious weddings has been called into question in some parts of the state.

The Universal Life Church Ministries is a nondenominational religious organization based in Seattle, Washington. It is perhaps most famous for its provision of ordinations online at its websites like http://www.ULC.org. The ULCM has ordained over 20 million ministers throughout its history. Many of those ministers go on to perform wedding ceremonies, in addition to other religious ceremonies and general ministry work.

Tonette Blasius’s newly released “Experiencing God in Goodbye” is a powerful exploration of the author’s experience with losing a loving mother.

News Image

“Experiencing God in Goodbye”: a potent look at death and bereavement. “Experiencing God in Goodbye” is the creation of published author Tonette Blasius.

Blasius shares, “‘Goodbye’ is hard. I will never question that. But I will tell you, with my experience in this ‘goodbye’ moment, I wouldn’t have traded it for anything this world has to offer. It was painful, confusing, anger-provoking, and exhausting. Yet in the end, it was healing, peaceful, life-learning, and praise-filled. Yes, it was all the above!

“Life leads us down many paths that we have no choice but to travel. God is always our travel companion, whether we invite Him or not. In the hardest of times is when we can experience His gentleness the most, but we have to surrender it all to Him and go where He leads us.

“Whether your loved one is young or old and the time is short or long, it is still painful but inevitable. Facing mortality is scary for everyone. But what greater honor can one give to the life lost than to celebrate all that was gained through them by the grace of God?”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Tonette Blasius’s new book presents an honest look into the realities of caring for an ailing parent and the difficult choices that occur along the way.

Blasius offers readers a message of comfort and understanding for those faced with a similar loss.
