Author Tony Cross’s newly released “Is God Angry? A Perspective Through Moses” is an insightful work that explores the true nature of God

News Image

“Is God Angry? A Perspective Through Moses”: a gripping and potent work that poses questions like, “Is there ‘righteous’ anger?” and “Why did God and Jesus use the analogy of ‘a father’ in relation to Himself, repeatedly throughout the Scripture?” “Is God Angry? A Perspective Through Moses” is the creation of published author, Tony Cross, who was born in Dallas, Texas.

Author Tony Cross writes, “Truth. Speaking to Jesus, Pilate’s famous words were ‘What is truth?’ An interesting question to ask Jesus, who also proclaimed, ‘I Am the way, the truth, and the life.’ My dad, whom I love very much, taught me many good things regarding faith, godly living, patience, humility, long-suffering, fatherhood, parenting, etc. But he also said things like ‘A wino, who drinks wine till he’s drunk every day, can drink a glass of water the next day and get drunk all over again.’ I had no reason to doubt him as a child, because I didn’t drink and had no knowledge of the subject of alcohol or alcohol abuse or its effect on the physical body. Google didn’t exist. The only computers that existed were at NASA, so researching information was limited and sketchy. It fit his narrative as a pastor, which was to scare everyone into salvation and away from the evils of society. But it wasn’t true.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Tony Cross’s new book seeks to overcome questions about God’s true nature. The author describes his personal journey of grappling with these questions and how he was able to find peace.

Book 2” is a compelling work that discusses how the world has defiled faith and its meaning.

News Image

“Undefiled Faith: Book 2” is a gripping and potent work that highlights the importance of faith. “Undefiled Faith: Book 2” is the creation of published author, Robert Shipley, who, after surrendering his will to God, has devoted his life to bringing the Church back to trusting God and not themselves.

Author Robert Shipley writes, “Surely if those men lived on earth today, the world would say life would be different for them! Instead of Abraham going out to the wilderness to live in a tent, he could stay in a luxury hotel. Or instead of him riding a stinky camel or walking in the desert, he could get a modern vehicle with air-conditioning and comfortable seats or ride first class on a plane in comfort because of how famous he is. The same goes for Elijah. Instead of him staying near a brook, he would be a CEO of a company, live in a condo or a mansion next to a pool, and have room service the rest of his life! No more being fed by

ravens or depending on a brook! In fact, he would host a gathering for the wealthy of the world and would call fire down from heaven to consume a bull for a feast as often as he would like for the entertainment of the onlookers.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Robert Shipley’s new book explains that faith becomes defiled when man ties worldly principles to it and puts standards and limitations on it so that man’s strength alone takes over faith.

The author also explains that man has learned to achieve what he requires by his strength, so to wait for it in faith would be considered, today, irresponsible and crazy.

A Biblical Defense for Word of Faith Theology” is a thorough examination of God’s goodness

News Image

“No Darkness at All: A Biblical Defense for Word of Faith Theology”: a potent exploration of God’s intentions for creation. “No Darkness at All: A Biblical Defense for Word of Faith Theology” is the creation of published author Michael Maffucci, a passionate Christian and ordained pastor who has spent a lifetime studying God’s word and the Greek language through various colleges including Moody Bible Institute, Tennessee Temple University, Hyles Anderson College, and Impact University. He is currently working on a doctorate in theology from Life Christian University. Maffucci is also a loving husband and devoted father.

Maffucci shares, “One of the most difficult things to understand about the Bible is why God seems so different in the Old testament than He does in the New Testament. There are places in the Old Testament where God says, ‘I kill and I destroy.’ There are many places where God appears to be very harsh when He deals with people. For example, Uzzah died on the spot when he reached out his hand to touch the ark of God.

“The author is of the conviction that God is good all the time and is never the cause of death, destruction, or sickness of any kind. The author also believes that the Bible is the inerrant word of God. Because of his dilemma in trying to justify these two opposite paradigms, he has done this detailed study on this subject because he believes the Bible cannot contradict itself.

“Many have blamed God for their afflictions or, at the very least, they have accepted their problems as God’s will for their life. If you believe that God is doing something evil to you to teach you a lesson or to develop your faith, how can you have faith to be healed or to be delivered from any difficulty?

“Reading this book will help you see that God is good all the time and can do ‘No Darkness At All’ (1 John 1:5). Careful grammatical research is done in this book that will give you evidence to the face that there is a great difference between what God causes and what God permits. Each chapter in this work builds upon this evidence and will increase your faith in the goodness of God.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Michael Maffucci’s new book is a compelling exploration of God’s intentions for creation and man’s interpretation of those intentions.

With an impressive educational background in theological studies, Maffucci presents a comprehensive detailing of biblical knowledge on God’s objectives and base goodness.

Dr. Erdie Mae Roberts Hutchings’s newly released “Women of the Bible vs. Women of the Twenty-First Century” shares the comparisons between biblical and modern women

News Image

“Women of the Bible vs. Women of the Twenty-First Century”: a meaningful discussion about the women of the past and today’s era in relation to God’s vision for them as they continue to communicate, adapt, and reveal God’s power and existence that shall be passed down through generations and evangelize the world. “Women of the Bible vs. Women of the Twenty-First Century” is the creation of published author Dr. Erdie Mae Roberts Hutchings, a writer, an educator, a US Army veteran, a minister, and a mother of three.

Dr. Hutchings shares, “As the ruler of the world, God had chosen how to guide His people. He pointed them to two relationships: Jesus’s relationship to the Father who sent Him and His relationship to those God gave Him. God controls every breath that we take and every step that one makes. It is God that makes disappointments His appointments. God reminds woman that His delay does not mean denials; it means development.

“God’s provision had already been set for both women of the Bible and women of the twenty-first century. This helped women worship the Giver more than the gift. This is why prayer should not only be focused on God’s provision but on His vision. God stirred the spirit, being large and in charge. It was the relationship that women of the twenty-first century and biblical women had with God that opened a mirror into the condition of their heart and women’s dependence on Him. God’s delay does not mean denials; it means development.

“Women of today’s era are much different than biblical women. The twenty-first century woman is consumed with multiple obligations, duties, and responsibilities on a daily basis, sometimes all at once. Today’s women are finally stepping out of their historical role of only mother and housewife. The modern woman has a much different lifestyle with many different choices. Modern women also look, dress, and act much differently than biblical women. Women today have also evolved and continue to evolve as they adapt to change.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Dr. Erdie Mae Roberts Hutchings’s new book is an enlightening read that shows the development of women’s relationship with God over the years and the importance of constantly focusing prayer on God’s vision to guide today’s people and future generations.

Libby Thomas’s newly released “A Wonderful, Merry…Happy Birthday, Jesus…Christmas” is an extraordinary picture book for both children and the young at heart

News Image

“A Wonderful, Merry…Happy Birthday, Jesus…Christmas”: a cheery adventure of Mrs. Clause and the elves as they prevent the loss of Christmas’s true spirit. “A Wonderful, Merry…Happy Birthday, Jesus…Christmas” is the first creation of published author Libby Thomas, a member of Murphy Bible Church which is now MountainView Church, a writer and poet at heart. She resides in Murphy, North Carolina with her husband, Tom, and wrote this book for her grandchildren and the next generations to come.

Thomas shares, “Something like this had never happened in Santaland before! Mrs. Clause tells of one Christmas Eve delivery that almost wasn’t. A time when an expected joyous time for children around the world just might not take place. Would the giving of gifts to children come to a halt? And just how could the elves and Santa prevent this from happening? There was a ripple in the atmosphere surrounding the North Pole they had never felt before. Whatever it was, it had to be taken care of really soon. If not, the truth and spirit of Christmas could slip away forever!

“THE TRUTH OF CHRISTMAS MUST NEVER BE LOST.

THERE IS A VERY GOOD REASON FOR THIS SPECIAL DAY.

REMEMBER IT AND ALWAYS SHARE IN THE LOVE IT BRINGS.

“Betsy Henn has been a lifelong resident of Murphy, North Carolina and is a well-known artist in the area. The author saw her work displayed at an arts and crafts fair in downtown Murphy not long after she began writing her story and thought how wonderful it would be if she would illustrate it. When she asked her once the story was finished, she was delighted and felt privileged that she said yes. Her own story was on the front page of the local newspaper and her artwork is displayed at the Murphy Art Center (M.A.C.) in downtown Murphy. As well, she has displayed and sold her artwork at the well-known John C Campbell Folk School annual fall festivals for over forty years. She is a local treasure.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Libby Thomas’s new book is a wondrous work that teaches the children the real essence of Christmas.

Author Paul Niles’ newly released “Walking with Hope” is a powerful story of one man’s recovery from being shot seven times

News Image

“Walking with Hope”: a poignant narrative of the author’s life. “Walking with Hope” is the creation of published author, Paul Niles, a jack of all trades who lives life with a positive outlook.

Niles shares, “I was in tears at this cross on top of this mountain in Riverside, California, and asking the Lord to give me back my mother and family. You see, I came from a broken home. We are all over the states. Then I saw flashes of light in the clouds like he heard my prayers.

Then I found myself in the hospital after being shot seven times! Twice in the back of my head and once in the heart! It was a professional hit. Someone didn’t like me very much. I thought I did something bad to end up in hell!

My whole family was back together for a short time—my sister and her family, my brothers on both sides of my parents, my aunts and uncle, my stepfather, and most of all, my mother! Now, I say that’s a miracle if ever I heard of one!

The Father is here. He exists in every one of us. In this book, I will show you how to hear from him, the All Mighty! You just have to let things be. ‘Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, speaking words of wisdom, let it be!’

I tried a lot of different lifestyles before I was awakened by the Lord after being shot seven times. I mean, I was running wild without a care in the world! Well, I’m finally on the right path he had led me on. It was all for a reason, and that reason is to prove that there is a Lord named Jesus Christ!”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Paul Niles’ new book is an engaging exploration of the author’s life experiences.

With a conversational approach, Niles shares personal stories of family, faith, and recovery following an extremely debilitating attack suffered by the author.
