Karen B. Rosenthal, NYC Divorce and Custody Lawyer, Tapped to Speak at Mensa Annual Gathering

“MENSANS are a terrific audience to consider this message because they can understand the far-reaching impact that a traumatic divorce has on children,” says Rosenthal.

Karen B. Rosenthal, a Manhattan matrimonial attorney focused on high-net-worth divorces and child custody disputes, will give a keynote address at MENSA’s Annual Gathering in Baltimore on July 7, 2023.

Conference attendees, all of whom are members of the ultra-high-IQ organization MENSA, will have the opportunity to attend Rosenthal’s presentation “The Modern Marriage: Protecting Your Children. Her presentation will give attendees a preview of her forthcoming book, “Cracking the Custody Code: Strategies for Winning the High Stakes Battle for Your Children,” co-authored with Dror Bikel, Amazon best-selling author of “The 1% Divorce: When Titans Clash.” Attendees will consider the following:

  •     How can parents be their child’s advocate during an antagonistic divorce
  •     Strategies to protect a child’s inheritance in a high-stakes, high-net-worth divorce
  •     Insights from contentious celebrity custody battles
  •     Why even happy couples should plan for worst-case scenarios and have protections in place for their children

Despite parents’ best intentions, children are often placed in the middle of highly combative divorces, much to their long-term detriment. Rosenthal, who is a frequent media commentator with more than three decades of experience handling child custody disputes, will share her absolute must-knows for parents, future parents, or people trying to support family and friends going through custody battles.

“MENSANS are a terrific audience to consider this message because they can understand the far-reaching impact that a traumatic divorce has on children,” says Rosenthal. “They are uniquely positioned to reflect on these pressing ideas and discover opportunities to make our world better for the next generation.”

About Karen B. Rosenthal: Karen B. Rosenthal is a partner at matrimonial litigation firm Bikel Rosenthal & Schanfield LLP, where she brings 30 years of matrimonial law experience to bear in matters involving high-net-worth equitable distribution, contentious custody battles, and other high-stakes disputes. empty tomb® Mission Match® Seeks 30 Churches to Help Launch Next Phase of Mobilization

The focus now is on a critical global need: preventing 1 million children under age five from dying each year from treatable causes.

Thirty churches are sought to participate in Mission Match’s next phase of expanding church impact on reducing, in Jesus’ name, global under-age-5 child deaths.

Since 2002, empty tomb’s Mission Match has offered matching contributions for church mission projects done in Jesus’ name.

Now, Mission Match is seeking 30 churches to help launch the next phase of mission mobilization.

Mission Match’s goal continues to be to change the world in Jesus’ name. The focus now is on a critical global need: preventing 1 million children under age five from dying each year from treatable causes.

The churches can apply for matching contributions to expand their medical mission projects located in one of the 40 countries.

As of 2015, these 40 countries were behind the curve in meeting goals to reduce the rate of under-age-five child deaths. Since many of these deaths are from treatable causes, churches can provide help at strategic points toward meeting these goals.

Projects can provide medical workers, or assist with a medical facility, or furnish equipment or supplies that assist with child survival in a medical setting. The types of projects could include, for example, a portable ultrasound machine, the repair of a maternity clinic in a country struggling with civil war, or malaria nets. It is understood that other age groups might also be assisted by the projects.

Although data indicates a decline in church membership in the U.S., church structures still continue to have one of the best delivery networks in global areas of need. Local churches in the U.S. can identify projects that work through these channels to help insure the projects are effective. Denominational and Christian nonprofits can be helpful sources about what is needed in these 40 countries to help reach the reduction goal in the rate of under-age-5 child deaths.

The Mission Match matching contributions are available in amounts of $500 through $3,000, in $500 steps.

Churches can find information about how to apply at missionmatch.org by selecting the Church Application page on the menu.

The list of 40 countries is at missionmatch.org on the 40 Countries page on the menu.

Why Men Who Overidentify With Their Careers May Lack Relationship Success

News Image

Similar to finding the right business idea, organization, or team, finding the right romantic partner is a process. It takes effort, skill, and self-knowledge.

Work easily consumes one-third of a person’s time, and 70% of professionals report that their work defines their personal sense of purpose.(1) This is a win-win when it results in employee engagement, but some professionals become enmeshed with their careers, failing to enjoy a separate, balanced identity outside of work success. The result can be neglected or no relationships,(2) or, in extreme cases, health problems or substance abuse.(3) Patrick Ryan, Wingman For You Founder and dating coach for professional men, finds this often boils down to the difference between the two types of confidence. While social confidence means a person is comfortable in their own skin, epistemic confidence relies on external factors such as being knowledgeable or successful.(4)

Ryan explains, “My goal with each client is to help him forge a lasting romantic relationship with the woman of his dreams. Even though many of my clients are very successful professionally, our starting point is often building the social confidence that allows him to organically approach women in social settings and expand the conversation without putting pressure on outcomes.”

The skills and mindset that drive business success, such as detached rationality and self-interest, are often the opposite of those that create relational success.(5) However, individuals who are willing to see their relationship as an investment of time, communication, and attention can often translate business success into relationship success.(6) Businesses and relationships are about growth. They challenge, excite, and reward those who invest in and commit to them.

Ryan advises, “Similar to finding the right business idea, organization, or team, finding the right romantic partner is a process. It takes effort, skill, and self-knowledge. The more tools and understanding you have, the less likely you are to blow a great opportunity when it comes your way.”

About Wingman For You:

Patrick Ryan has always been curious about humans, their behavior, and what makes them tick. He never pursued this curiosity on a professional level until he began the Wingman For You program. He learned that people are a sum of their life experiences. After the failure of his second marriage in 2008, Patrick found himself single and alone once again. He embarked on a nine-year journey, dating more than 250 women, and learned the secrets to attracting a woman’s attention until he found the woman of his dreams. This translated into powerful and valuable insights that every man should know.

Wingman For You helps men find the woman of their dreams by first helping them build self-confidence and then teaching them how to approach women organically. Surveys indicate that 80% of women would never use a dating site. If a client chooses to use a dating site, Wingman For You assists in creating a top-performing profile and provides valuable advice on contacting women and encouraging them to respond. Wingman For You teaches their clients the secrets to communicating with women to attract their attention, arouse their interest, and ultimately develop a lasting romantic relationship so they will never be alone again. Become a Part of LGBTQ+ History – Donate to the JustMarried Project Today

A black and white montage of historic same-sex couples celebrating marriage.

Everyday S/Heroes

It’s important to get the JustMarried project released before the 2024 election in time to inspire voters to get out and help maintain this precious right.

GoodDoxie Studios is pleased to announce the development of The JustMarried project, an 8-part documentary series, book and podcast. JustMarried is a project designed to preserve the love stories and legacy behind one of the greatest civil rights victories in history – Marriage Equality.

These couples’ stories changed the compassion and consciousness of our nation, and these stories can reach into more hearts for decades to come.

Many of the couples they interviewed said the same thing over and over, “We had no role models to help us.” This series is chock full of s/heroes and role models enabling and encouraging future generations to be vigilant in protecting what is now their right to dignity and their rights under the law. These real-life representations of lasting relationships and enduring love are powerful and something we can all agree is more important than ever.

Several individuals and couples that are part of the JustMarried project are well known names, including Edie Winsor and Jim Obergefell, but not many people are aware of the more than 18+ additional plaintiffs with equally heart swelling stories of strength and inspiration. This project is designed to ensure that ALL of their stories and their legacies are preserved for future generations, along with the law.

The team leading the JustMarried project fundamentally believe that now and for the 2024 election cycle, winning hearts and minds of the public is critical for gaining true marriage equality for LGBTQ+ people in America and they hope our documentary can help that cause. Most married LGBTQ+ couples don’t know that the recent Respect for Marriage Act only truly protects couples in the 21 states that don’t have trigger laws on the books. Clarence Thomas is gunning to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges and has asked out loud for attorney generals across the country to bring SCOTUS cases that will help overturn the law, sending marriage rights back to the states.

It’s important to get the JustMarried project released before the 2024 election in time to inspire voters to get out and help maintain this precious right.

The goals of this fundraising portion of the JustMarried project are to help the team start filming and increase the level of support for the documentary. This will also show streaming services and advertisers how important the issue of marriage equality is to the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. They are also looking for partnerships with major LGBTQ+ organizations which can help their team to amplify this project and their mutual goals.

Electronic Dance Music DJ and Producer, TIM CLARK, Releases His Latest Single, “Forgiving Hearts” ft Robin Vane (Tradebloc Music), February 14, 2023

TIM CLARK featuring Robin Vane, “Forgiving Hearts” (song artwork)

“Forgiving Hearts” is a song by TIM CLARK featuring Robin Vane about perseverance, overcoming addiction, and the strength of the human spirit. It’s a soaring song with a strong dance music element.

Heartfelt. Tremendous. Epic. The new song by electronic dance music (EDM) DJ and producer, TIM CLARK, is a memorable ballad with significant dance music elements that the artist hopes will inspire listeners as one of their favorite songs of the year. “Forgiving Hearts” (Tradebloc Music) by TIM CLARK featuring Robin Vane is out now.

From the first notes, Robin Vane’s strong, soaring voice cuts to the core of human emotion accompanied by TIM CLARK’s rich, booming production, causing bodies to rise into the air. The lyrics are thoughtful and based on true emotion and real-life experience. With proper song construction buoyed by a banging 4/4 dance beat, “Forgiving Hearts” is as much at home on a packed festival mainstage as it is in a darkened, sweaty nightclub at peak-time during a DJ set. The music video for “Forgiving Hearts,” filmed by Shadow Fleks Films, takes place in Las Vegas and Thailand.

Said TIM CLARK of “Forgiving Hearts,” “I wanted to write a song to my wife, Stacy. It’s a song about overcoming addiction and forgiving each other for the ordeal it puts a relationship through. I was thinking about Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Someone You Loved.’ I like how he wrote the song open to interpretation. People think it’s about an ex-girlfriend when it’s about his grandmother’s passing. ‘Forgiving Hearts’ can be about anything in a relationship that needs forgiving. I also wanted a song that was a tremendous ballad with a dance component. Finally, I had to find the right vocalist, and Robin Vane is the best! I knew I wanted a male singer ’cause this was me writing an open love letter to my wife.”

ABOUT TIM CLARK

TIM CLARK is a man unaccustomed to hearing the words, “You can’t do that.” For the last 20 years, he’s been DJ’ing and producing his own electronic dance music, since before the genre was even called ‘EDM.’ He ignored nay-sayers who told him, “You can’t do that,” when, for several years, he veered off his music path onto a different career path by forming and building an immensely successful business, Tradebloc, Inc. With a merciless work ethic and tireless sense of innovation, CLARK eventually grew his company into a family of companies in the fields of finance, technology and travel, reinventing those industries as he went. The Tradebloc, Inc. group of companies is currently valued at approximately $50 million. As of the beginning of 2023, Tradebloc Inc. ranked #425 on Inc. Magazine’s “Top 5,000” companies list, a qualified ranking coveted by many but attained by vanishingly few.

Fast-forward to 2023, and TIM CLARK has handed over the running of Tracebloc’s day-to-day operations to a close-knit team of seasoned professionals. This has allowed CLARK to completely free-up his time and devote his considerable energies to his true love and passion: music and DJ’ing. Signed with Warner Music Group for global distribution of his recorded music, CLARK has carefully curated a hit-squad of best-in-class music industry veterans and key entertainment industry players. CLARK’s recent nightclub residencies include Las Vegas’ Area15 and the Artisan Ultra Lounge, among other venues in Las Vegas, including “underground” warehouse raves. CLARK’s music is currently released on Tradebloc Music and distributed globally by Warner Music. Recent releases include TIM CLARK’s “Can’t Sing,” “Wake Up” featuring Jessica Zenzen, The Calling E.P., and the Valentine’s Day release, “Forgiving Hearts.” CLARK’s releases are supported by a cadre of global club and radio DJs, including DJ Mag’s “#1” top DJ in the world, DAVID GUETTA, who added CLARK’s release to GUETTA’s official Spotify playlist. The future looks bright for TIM CLARK, a very driven artist devoted to DJ’ing.

These days, no longer does TIM CLARK hear the words, “You can’t do that.”
