Whats New in the World of Psychology? These Press Releases, will keep you up to date on all things Psychology related.

The book “Speak to My Healing” beautifully captures the essence of Christmas as a time for renewal and rejuvenation.

In her latest publication, “Speak to My Healing,” author Habakkuk Cooper delves into the depths of psychological healing. Drawing on both the positive and negative aspects of her life experiences, Cooper offers insights into the healing process, regardless of the hardships and pain encountered. She stresses the potential to free oneself from emotional and mental encumbrances, leading to personal improvement in spite of life’s challenges.

Cooper’s inspiration for this book comes from her own path of self-healing, having contended with deep-seated trauma that significantly affected her mental health and interpersonal relationships. She aspires to motivate women and others to better themselves by releasing past hurts, pain, and resentment. The book encourages women to discover and express their individual truths and to seek help for their trauma without feeling embarrassed. Cooper advocates for the creation of a compassionate, supportive community, ready to listen to those in need. She highlights the criticality of seeking help for healing and asserts that one’s history should not determine their future. Cooper advises clearing mental clutter to open up space for more enriching experiences and suggests approaching potentially triggering situations with caution until full healing is achieved. She urges women to courageously share their experiences and inspire others to release their past and trust in a higher power to overcome the lingering effects of trauma.

About the Author

Habakkuk Cooper is a serial entrepreneur and former mental health therapist who dedicated her life to promoting good health, self-love, and healing. She loves helping others by becoming more educated on herbal remedies that can help heal others. Her selfless acts have changed the lives of many people who have suffered from mental health issues. Her motto is Live, Love, Pray, Heal.

Habakkuk earned her B. A. degree in Political Science as she dreamed of becoming the best criminal defense attorney alive, then later, a Judge until God redirected her toward earning her master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Although this was not her plan, she obeyed God’s plan by entering the mental health field. She also obtained a second master’s degree in criminal justice from the same University; practicing law had always been her first love.

Habakkuk, a prophetic Biblical name that means “One who embraces God,” was given to her by her mother and father. As a child and a young adult, she hated her name until she discovered what it meant as an adult. She has lived up to her name by becoming a steward of God and accepting her gift and purpose. She knew that she was meant for the task of helping others after strangers would often approach her to tell her their life stories while she patiently listened. Their responses would always be, “I needed that. Thank you for listening”. These words always made her smile. Habakkuk loves singing, listening to music, writing, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She is very passionate about helping people.

Prem Rawat Achieves Another Guinness World Record for Attendance

The lecture, specifically focused on the importance of self-discovery, aimed to guide attendees on a transformative journey towards personal fulfillment. Prem Rawat shared profound insights aimed at encouraging self-reflection and inspiring positive change.

“You are the most important thing in your life. It is not important what is happening outside but what is happening inside of you. For that you need to know yourself,” said Prem Rawat. “A major objective behind understanding the self is that in life we have control only over ourselves and that self only determines our joy and peace. Hence, knowing self puts us in the driver’s seat in this life.”

In keeping with the stringent criteria that accompany the setting of a new Guinness World Record, adjudicators Mr. Swapnil Dangarikar and Mr. Pravin Patel attended the event and, immediately following Prem’s presentation, officially acknowledged his record-setting performance.

This is the second Guinness World Record that Prem Rawat has achieved.

On April 13, 2023 in Lucknow, India, he set the world record for the largest audience ever to attend a book reading by a single author. At that gathering, 114,707 people listened to him read from his New York Times bestselling book, “Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World.”

What attracts so many people to Prem Rawat’s events? His extraordinary ability to connect with his audiences and inspire them to more deeply consider their potential to experience peace within themselves and the possibility of living a life of hope and gratitude.

It is the same gift that attracts people to his Peace Education Program, a workshop series that features video excerpts of his talks and helps participants fulfill that potential. Offered freely through his nonprofit, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), the program has attracted 400,000 participants in 80 countries.

Most recently, Prem Rawat joined TPRF volunteers in Dubai, UAE, to introduce the Peace Education Program to educators at the Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) conference, the leading education conference and exhibition in the Middle East.

Already offered at over 1,000 educational institutions, the Peace Education Program is being welcomed at a growing number of high schools and universities because of its potential to promote critical thinking and reflection and to help students develop greater personal awareness and resilience.

Prem Rawat’s humanitarian efforts through TPRF also include relief for people suffering from disasters around the world, and the Food for People program, which has provided over 5.6 million nutritious meals to disadvantaged children and elderly people in India, Ghana and Nepal.

Registered as a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, TPRF has earned the highest rankings from independent evaluators Charity Navigator and Guidestar for transparency, financial accountability and leadership.

Ideal Option Opens Largest Addiction Medicine Center in Spokane

The new, high-capacity clinic in the heart of the healthcare district will vastly increase the number of individuals in active treatment and recovery from substance use disorder.

SPOKANE, Wash., Nov. 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Ideal Option, a national leader in evidence-based outpatient treatment for addiction to fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, alcohol and polysubstance, has opened a 5000 square foot addiction medicine center in Spokane.

The new center, located behind Catholic Charities, occupies the entire building at 26 E 5th Ave, staffed with three addiction medicine providers, four medical assistants, a care navigator and a peer outreach specialist. With capacity to see up to 100 patients per day, the clinic is the largest of its kind in Spokane.

A trusted, low-barrier provider in Spokane for nearly 9 years, Ideal Option carries no waitlists, accepts Medicaid and serves all patients with respect and dignity. Ideal Option providers are experts in treating high-risk patients who need specialized protocols for complex drug combinations or health conditions such as pregnancy and chronic disease.

Ideal Option data support the effectiveness of medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. Among Washington state patients who continued treatment with Ideal Option throughout 2022, urine drug testing revealed a remarkable 98% reduction in fentanyl use and a 94% reduction in total opioid use.‥

With the recent expansion of its in-house laboratory capabilities, Ideal Option is now able to detect, report on and treat dozens of fentanyl analogs, nitazines, novel psychoactive substances, and cutting agents such as xylazine and lidocaine.

According to the Spokane County Department of Health, there was a 186% increase in fentanyl-related overdoses between 2020 and 2021. In addition, Spokane was designated by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in 2022 as one of eleven crisis spots for fentanyl addiction after its seizures increased by 1,098%.‥

“There are too many people dying in Spokane and too many families suffering because of street drugs. Our community is desperate for a treatment center like this one that makes it easy for anyone to start recovery and keep it going,” said Tyler Vermillion, community outreach coordinator for Ideal Option. “If we work together as one to direct people into treatment that works, we can help Spokane get in front of the overdose epidemic.”

The new treatment center is open Monday – Thursday,‥7:30‥a.m. –‥6‥p.m. at 26 E 5th Ave, Spokane.

Most forms of insurance are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid, and patients can typically get started on treatment for fentanyl, heroin, alcohol or other substances within 1-3 business days.

While Ideal Option’s offices on Monroe and Washington St have now closed, its clinics on Francis St and in Spokane Valley continue to operate as normal.

Patients can make an appointment by calling 1.877.522.1275 or visiting www.idealoption.com.

About Ideal Option‥

Headquartered in Kennewick, Washington, Ideal Option was founded in 2012 and has since helped more than 75,000 patients through a network of 90 office-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinics across 9 states. With a mission to serve under-served communities, Ideal Option accepts most forms of insurance including Medicaid and Medicare. Financial assistance and payment plans are also available.

Ideal Option’s team of medical providers carry certifications in Addiction and Emergency Medicine, Internal, and Family Medicine, among other specialties. The company also employs social workers, caseworkers, counselors, and mental health practitioners. This holistic approach helps drive positive outcomes, including family stability, stable housing, improved overall health, and reduced rates of recidivism.

In all the communities it serves, Ideal Option collaborates with existing stakeholders and providers to improve the continuum of care. This approach includes partnerships with emergency rooms and county jail systems, where individuals with substance use disorder often appear, as well as collaborating with numerous support agencies and municipal programs addressing social needs such as housing, mental health, and nutrition support.
