NeuroFlow Expands Partnership with U.S. Air Force, Wins $1.5M Contract to Increase Mental Health Care Access

NeuroFlow, the leader of digitally enabled behavioral health integration, has secured a contract with the United States Air Force to expand its platform to multiple sites, enhancing and scaling care delivered by administrators and medical personnel.

The partnership spans across multiple major commands empowering Airmen to manage their own mental health and build resilience for peak performance. The technology will help administrators monitor the ‘combat readiness’ of Airmen, forming positive routines and creating a streamlined process for identifying at-risk individuals and adjusting treatment plans in real-time.

“Serving our Nation’s Armed Forces is an immense honor. We understand the challenges faced by military populations when treating and managing mental health symptoms,” said NeuroFlow CEO and former Army Captain Chris Molaro. “It’s our objective to leverage technology in a way that allows everyone to take control of their own health, and we look forward to expanding our work with the U.S. Air Force on this critical mission.”

NeuroFlow began working with AFWERX, a United States Air Force program with the goal of fostering a culture of innovation within the service, in late 2019 after being awarded an initial trial contract. After integrating and validating the behavioral health platform on-site at Peterson Air Force Base with AFMS clinical specialists, NeuroFlow successfully won its bid on a more extensive contract to scale the technology.

A heightened awareness around the topic of mental health has prompted leadership to seek out technology-driven solutions focused on wellness and resiliency. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to finding innovative ways to ensure not just the combat readiness of our Airmen but their overall quality of life,” said Major Judy Cole, 21st Medical Group Mental Health Flight commander.

In the coming weeks, NeuroFlow’s technology will be deployed within a division of the U.S. Space Force, laying the groundwork for an integrated approach to physical and mental health care. The integrity of the platform ensures individual privacy and relies on user-generated data to make informed decisions about care. Within the scope of work, NeuroFlow will also assess the technology’s long-term ability to lower medical costs and increase combat readiness.

About NeuroFlow

NeuroFlow is a digital health company combining workflow automation, consumer engagement solutions, and applied AI to promote behavioral health integration in all care settings. NeuroFlow’s suite of HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based tools simplify remote patient monitoring, enable risk stratification, and facilitate collaborative care. With NeuroFlow, health care organizations can finally bridge the gap between mental and physical health in order to improve outcomes and reduce the cost of care. http://www.neuroflow.com.

Channelview ISD Selects Care Solace for Mental Healthcare Services

Students can’t learn if they aren’t supported mentally, physically and academically, and staff can’t help if they don’t have access to the right resources. Partnering with Care Solace will help us bridge this gap and offer quality, trusted mental healthcare resources to our community.

Channelview Independent School District (ISD) has selected Care Solace, an organization determined to calm the chaos of mental healthcare coordination, to extend access to mental health care and resources for families and staff. Care Solace equips school districts with a web-based tool that makes it easier to connect with both community-based and virtual mental healthcare providers and programs.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Care Solace, and know this partnership will benefit our community in a very unique way,” said Greg Ollis, Superintendent at Channelview ISD. “Mental health is not something that should be taken lightly, and we are now able to offer our staff, teachers, parents, and students an outlet for them to seek the help they need.”

Located in an unincorporated area outside of Houston, Texas, 80 percent of Channelview ISD students are economically disadvantaged (TAPR, 2019). Limited community-based care resources and an increased demand for student and staff mental healthcare led the school district to seek additional support through Care Solace.

With Care Solace, families and staff gain access to a dedicated Care Concierge team, with experts available around-the-clock to guide users through processes related to insurance, provider availability, wait times and scheduling. Care Solace’s care navigation system uses proprietary technology and a vast database of behavioral and mental healthcare resources to find carefully vetted therapists and programs in minutes.

“Students can’t learn if they aren’t supported mentally, physically and academically, and staff can’t help if they don’t have access to the right resources,” said Karen Bryant, Ed.D, Director of Testing, Counseling, 504, RTI, and Dyslexia at Channelview ISD. “Partnering with Care Solace will help us bridge this gap and offer quality, trusted mental healthcare resources to our community.”

More than 90,000 school staff and parents at partnering school communities of Care Solace used the pre-screening tool, with at least 40,000 students receiving mental healthcare support as a result. Care Solace has facilitated an estimated 4,500 crisis interventions.

“Creating a healthy environment for learning in the 2020-21 school year has arguably never been more challenging for staff and families,” said Chad Castruita, founder of Care Solace. “We are proud to support Channelview ISD in prioritizing the wellbeing of its school community by providing timely access into mental healthcare services.”

Care Solace is now available to Channelview ISD families and staff. For more information about Care Solace, please visit https://home.caresolace.com/.

About Channelview ISD

The Channelview Independent School District is a rapidly growing school district with 9,500 students. The mission of CISD is to provide an educational program which will develop and enhance our students’ intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth in order to encourage them to become creative, responsible, patriotic contributing members of society. Inherent within this mission is the belief that all students can learn, and that school can make a difference in the lives of its students. Channelview ISD is a 6A school district located in an unincorporated area situated on the Houston Ship Channel approximately 15 miles east of downtown Houston. The district has twelve campuses, an administration building, fairgrounds, maintenance headquarters and a transportation facility. There is a Pre-K center, seven elementary schools, two junior high schools, one ninth grade center, one high school, an alternative high school.

About Care Solace

Care Solace is on a mission to calm the chaos associated with mental healthcare coordination for high school and college students. The organization’s web-based system works alongside multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) as a tool for school staff and families to connect with community-based mental healthcare resources and providers. The proprietary care navigation system taps into a vast database of mental healthcare resources to find carefully vetted local therapists and programs in minutes. In 2019, more than 80,000 school staff and parents used the Care Solace pre-screening tool. At least 30,000 students received mental healthcare support as a result. AllKindsofTherapy.com Expands to U.S. Boarding Schools

The only independent website where families & young adults find the facts & compare side-by-side treatment to transition.

allkindsoftherapy.com

Every stage of the recovery process is crucial for a student, including the transition from a therapeutic environment into a mainstream school. Small boarding schools offer subtle but critical structures to ensure student success

These initial boarding schools are all nationally accredited for their academics and are non-profit boarding schools. The boarding schools who are partnering with allkindsoftherapy.com are primarily focused on being a boarding community with few, if any, day students. Adding traditional boarding schools to All Kinds of Therapy furthers the mission of providing the facts in an easy to understand way for parents investigating the continuum of care for teens and young adults in treatment. “Google reported in 2019 that 7% of daily searches are healthcare-related and families who are searching for niche information about teen treatment and young adult treatment are staying for 2 minutes to find the facts on allkindsoftherapy.com,” said Jenney Wilder, M.S.Ed., owner of the website.

According to the Association of Boarding Schools, there are 198 traditional boarding schools in the United States. There is a subset of boarding schools that entertain the application of a student who successfully completed a treatment program. This cohort of schools has smaller student populations, intentional ways of creating a community for their whole school, and sometimes have an expert clinician or specific diagnosis that transition or integrate into their community. These specialized boarding schools utilize strong Advisor/Advisee relationships, small classes, and various other types of academic and emotional supports to assist all their students’ continued success and growth. “Listing our facts on allkindsoftherapy.com’s new section for specialized boarding schools allows us to connect with a valued demographic among our prospective students and families,” said Matthew Woodhall, Head of Woodhall School in Connecticut. He went on to explain, “Students who have made demonstrable progress in a therapeutic milieu, possess a keener self-awareness and freshly developed coping skills, which in turn provide a solid foundation for them to build upon their personal, academic, and co-curricular success in our school community.”

“Every stage of the recovery process is crucial for a student, including the transition from a therapeutic environment into a mainstream school. Small boarding schools offer subtle but critical structures to ensure student success, and parsing out these characteristics cannot always be found in most online directories or school-based websites,” said Holly McGlennon Treat, M.Ed., Director of Boarding School Advising at The Bertram Group in Westport, CT. Allkindsoftherapy.com provides easy to understand information that will help families compare all levels of treatment to transition programming for teens and young adults. The therapeutic process is not a straight line. Whether a parent is searching online for the the right clinician, intervention, family coach, therapeutic consultant, psychologist, takes time and trust to go through the process.

###

About All Kinds of Therapy

Launched in 2015, allkindsoftherapy.com is a web-based platform that focuses on interventions, assessment, and varying types of treatment to transition programming for ages 30 and under. All the advertisers on the website must answer revealing facts about their treatment model, clinicians’ training, licensing, etc, and offer a level of transparency, unlike any other online treatment, boarding school, or professional directory. The web platform allows the visitor to compare side-by-side, residential options, boarding schools. The professionals listed in the ‘Expert section’ are parent coaches, tele-therapy, tele-assessment, therapeutic consultants who reveal details about their practice. The monthly blog allows parents to learn the questions to ask when hiring professionals or enrolling their child and gather a greater understanding of a dynamic Family Choice Behavioral Healthcare industry.
