As of Friday, HashCash CEO Raj Chowdhury has surpassed Tesla CEO Elon Musk, by claiming 42nd position on Crunchbase’s global media ranking of the top 50 most influential personalities. He is followed by Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group at 43rd and Musk at 46th position.

The blockchain pioneer and entrepreneur has also left behind Amazon Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos (rank -59), Facebook Chief Mark Zuckerberg (rank -60), and Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt (rank- 62). Previously Raj Chowdhury has surpassed Google Co-founder Larry Page and Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin in global influence on Crunchbase media ranking.
