Cambridge Innovation Institute (CII) and Barnett International announce the launch of the Bioprocess Professional Certification program (BPCP), a dedicated, Instructor-led online, module-based education and certification program designed to provide critical, non-technical support staff with 101-level bioprocess training to understand and apply core bioprocessing technologies and techniques.
Offered in collaboration with The BioProcess Institute and powered by Barnett International, the BPCP program aims to provide the support, education, and training today’s workers need to meet and exceed current performance expectations and be prepared for what lies ahead. Naila Ganatra, General Manager of the Barnett Division states that Barnett is “pleased to collaborate with BPCP and apply our training framework and instructional design approach to facilitate the development and delivery of a highly relevant, application-based certification program.”
Brian Caine, Co-Founder of the BPCP program says, “On average, non-technical support staff represent over 30% of biopharmaceutical companies total employees. Their functions and performance ensure process safety, reliability, and quality and are critical to every organization’s success. BPCP is designed to support, educate, and train these workers to meet and exceed current performance expectations and be prepared to take on future responsibilities.”
James Dean Vogel, Co-Founder and Instructor of the BPCP program adds, “A training program dedicated to non-scientist technical staff is long overdue. The BPCP program fills this training gap. Employees will be able to distinguish capabilities while earning accredited certification. Biopharma companies will strengthen business operations, reduce operational costs and documentation errors, and lower operational waste and risk of contamination.”
