Beli Launches “Healthy Fathers, Healthy Sperm” Campaign in Support of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

Beli, Inc., science-backed women’s and men’s prenatal multivitamins helping couples conceive healthy pregnancies, wants to help prepare men for the vital role they play in preconception with their Healthy Fathers, Healthy Sperm campaign. In light of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month on October 1st, Beli will share science-backed facts, helpful tips from doctors and registered dietitians, studies, and more on their Instagram @Beli.baby during the month of October.

“No matter where you are in the fertility journey, understanding the role that male sperm plays in the equation is huge. As women, we tend to put all of the pressure on ourselves, not even realizing that our partner’s health is just as important. The goal of this campaign is to provide men with the resources they need to not only understand how crucial their health is during preconception and pregnancy, but to feel confident that they are making the right choices. This is why we are including tips not just on prenatals (cue Beli for Men!), but on diet, sleep, exercise, and more,” said Joni Hanson Davis, CEO and founder of Beli.

She also stated, “There is an increasing amount of research to prove why men’s health is so important when trying to conceive, and we want to help advocate for these studies and be a thought leader in this space.”

Studies on the docket for discussion include recent research from Imperial College of London, which found that multiple miscarriages could be linked to the poor quality of a man’s sperm. In this study, researchers looked at the quality of sperm in men whose partners had suffered recurrent miscarriages and the quality of sperm from men whose partners had not experienced a miscarriage. They saw that sperm DNA fragmentation levels were twice as high in men whose partners suffered with recurrent miscarriage than in the control group. Beli for Men helps to provide a solution on recurrent miscarriages, as it is the first prenatal for men to include the all-natural Shilajit as a key ingredient, which improves sperm quality and overall fertility. Beli will feature many other studies during their campaign, including several that highlight the link between poor nutrition (either too much or too little) and low sperm count*.

While findings are becoming more and more established in this field, Beli believes this is just the beginning of research coming to the forefront specific to men’s fertility. Beli is excited to share many of these findings – and a lot more – during their Healthy Fathers, Healthy Sperm campaign. Even more exciting is that Beli continues to provide solutions when it comes to both men and women’s fertility with their Beli for Men and Beli for Women prenatals that are proven to help couples’ chances of conceiving and sustaining healthy pregnancies.
