Leading data marketplace and exchange platform BDEX is pleased to announce that it was recently named among the data marketplaces providers in a closely-followed industry report by Forrester Research, a global market research and advisory firm.
Titled “New Tech: Data Marketplaces, Q3 2019,” the report provides an overview of the booming data economy and examines the capabilities and service offerings of 21 data marketplace providers.
“BDEX is incredibly honored to be recognized by Forrester in the data marketplace space,” said David Finkelstein, BDEX Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer.
To identify the providers, Forrester conducted primary research and consulted with external industry experts. The report states that the data marketplace industry is undergoing a “fundamental shift” as the demand for external data continues to grow. According to Forrester, “with the data economy booming, data buyers and sellers need a place to meet. A new crop of data marketplaces, [including BDEX], stands poised to provide that hub to enable data transactions.”
“Today’s marketing leaders understand that not all data is created equal,” Finkelstein added. “To be effective, companies need to better understand consumer behavior and intents across numerous devices, reaching the right people at exactly the right time. The BDEX platform aggregates and consolidates unique behavioral data from hundreds of impartial sources, providing our clients with the most accurate insights they need to grow their business.”

About BDEX
Established in 2014, BDEX is the first ever Data Exchange Platform (DXP). CEO David Finkelstein and CDO Michael Aronov founded one of the first Internet service providers in the country, National Internet Source, Inc., in 1994. The pair sold the company to U.S. Cable Corporation in 2000 before founding Contextuads, which served advertising networks and PPC search engines through more efficient ad targeting. After finding themselves with an abundance of useful data at their fingertips, Finkelstein and Aronov created BDEX. Combining the functionality, data, and reach of a traditional data management platform in a true marketplace environment, BDEX empowers B2C companies to use the power of data to understand consumer behaviors and intents helping them reach the right people at the right time.
