Aligned in Hope

“Aligned in Hope affords us the opportunity to give back to RMHC families while doing what we do best, fixing cars, in our ultimate quest and firm belief in our ability and moral obligation to leave everything better – a TBC Corporation core value.”

TBC Corporation, the parent company to automotive maintenance and tire centers Tire Kingdom and NTB Tire & Service Centers, has announced a new partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). RMHC helps families with ill or injured children stay together, and close to the medical care their child needs at leading hospitals worldwide.

Through the partnership, Aligned in Hope will provide support to RMHC through the following efforts:

  • After leaving the hospital, RMHC families will receive a special membership card that offers discounts for life on tires and maintenance services at any Tire Kingdom and NTB Tire & Service Center in the United States.
  • Service discounts for shuttle vehicles utilized by Ronald McDonald House programs to transport families – helping to minimize vehicle downtime and prevent costly repairs.
  • Discounts on products for Ronald McDonald Care Mobile which provide access to medical, dental and health care resources in communities where children need it most.
  • TBC Associates at more than 600 Tire Kingdom and NTB Service Centers throughout 18 states will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities at and in support of local RMHC Chapters, further reinforcing the team’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of RMHC families.

The relationship between NTB, Tire Kingdom and RMHC will also be visible in-store and online through educational and promotional campaigns designed to make a difference and have an impact.

“We’re extremely excited about the opportunity to make an impact through our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities and their local Chapters throughout the United States,” said Erik R. Olsen, President & CEO of TBC Corporation. “Aligned in Hope affords us the opportunity to give back to RMHC families while doing what we do best, fixing cars, in our ultimate quest and firm belief in our ability and moral obligation to leave everything better – a TBC Corporation core value.”

An integral part of TBC and all business units spanning retail, franchise, wholesale, distribution, ecommerce and corporate shared services is corporate social responsibility (CSR). In fact, one of the company’s core values focuses on it — leave everything better. The company has initiatives that are driven by the company as well as initiatives that are Associate-driven, all communicated to associates via a formalized program called TBC Driven To Give (#TBCDrivenToGive).

“We are grateful to TBC Corporation and their commitment to providing support to RMHC families through their Aligned in Hope initiative,” said Sheila Musolino, President & CEO, RMHC. “This new partnership will provide essential tire and automotive resources to our system and RMHC families as they return home after their child’s medical treatment. We certainly look forward to welcoming TBC Associates to our local Chapters across the United States so they can experience first-hand the impact they are making for these families.”
