Through her relatable memoir, Gomez wants readers to understand that God is always faithful even when things don’t turn out as planned. She gave her life to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in 2015. She had been married to an atheist who wanted nothing to do with God. When her entire life was turned upside down, she began a journey from tragedy to triumph. In doing so, Gomez learned to trust God even when He didn’t answer her prayers as she wanted. She recognized God’s faithfulness in the midst of the pain and God’s provision in the midst of lack. Her book is all about learning to trust God in the uncertainties of life, offering readers faith and much-needed hope when things seem hopeless.

When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Gomez said, “God told me several years ago that I was going to write books for Him.”

Jaimie Gomez is a bilingual evangelist, deliverance minister, and intercessor. She is also a world language teacher for the public school system in her town. Gomez is passionate about God and His Word. She strives to do the work that He has given her day in and day out. As a strong woman of the Lord she educates people about the Word and uses her own testimonies to help others. She works with people of all ages and ethnicities, teaching about God’s love and His plan to save, heal, restore, and deliver them. Gomez is currently working towards a degree in theology. She enjoys studying, reading, singing worship songs, cooking and physical fitness.
