Author and illustrator Emily Mae shares the story of Noah in her colorful new children’s book “Hi, I’m Noah!”
“Hi, I’m Noah!” tells the classic biblical story of Noah’s ark, how Noah was called by God to do something bigger than himself, in a vibrant, educational way. In the book Noah faces daunting tasks, but learns that when you trust in God, you can never go wrong.
Told from Noah’s point of view, Mae shares a different perspective to the traditional tale. Noah’s prayer can be found in the back of the book, as well as Noah’s song, which families can do together, as part of this literary experience.
“I want to make biblical stories approachable for a young audience,” Mae said. “This book allows me to use my talents for writing and illustrating to share Noah’s story.”
Young children can enjoy the book with familiar animals and colorful images. The simple text is written to be approachable to younger readers, or to be read as a bedtime story.
