The integration of Binah.ai’s technology into the Rootines digital notebook now allows access to important data at the touch of a button to better inform decisions and expand the continuum of care

Binah.ai, a leading provider of general health and wellness video-based monitoring tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI), today announced its partnership with ASD.ai around the launch of ASD.ai’s Rootines application, to support the community involved in the daily care of those affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The application will launch April 15 to celebrate World Autism Month and offers a fast, simple and effective way to track the well-being of individuals with autism.
Dubbed as a digital notebook, the Rootines app uses historical data such as mood, behavior, sleep and other elements, to provide parents, caregivers and clinicians, insights to help identify trends and anticipate future needs.
Binah.ai’s award-winning vital signs monitoring solution enriches the health data with contactless real-time vital signs measurements such as heart rate, heart rate variability and respiration rate – vitals that might often correlate with stress and behavioral changes including in ASD subjects – just by the user looking at the camera of a smartphone, tablet or laptop, for less than one minute.
“It is an honor to be part of the solution that ASD.ai is providing to the autism community,” said Sam Friedman, VP Sales North America at Binah.ai. “Binah.ai’s technology was introduced to allow anyone, anywhere to access basic healthcare services. While this is a tall order, we believe we are a step closer to filling it each time we partner with companies like ASD.ai, that are truly changing lives.”
“Managing the daily care of a loved one with autism spectrum disorder can be especially difficult if the patient has limited verbal communication abilities,” said Blake Z. Rutherford, Chief Revenue Officer and co-founder at ASD.ai. “There are still many parents of children with autism using pen and paper to track these details, which is not only cumbersome, but can also lead to incomplete reporting. The integration of Binah.ai’s technology into the Rootines digital notebook now allows access to important data at the touch of a button to better inform decisions and expand the continuum of care.”
The application is now available on iOS and is under development for Android. To learn more about the Rootines digital notebook by ASD.ai, visit http://www.rootines.app/.
