AplusA Bell Falla, the US subsidiary of AplusA Healthcare Market Research Worldwide, has expanded its US leadership team with the recent hire of Dr. Karen Higginbottom as Head of Innovation and Strategic Accounts. In this role, Dr. Higginbottom will guide the development of new and innovative research products for the company’s healthcare clients as well as spearheading client strategy for AplusA’s largest accounts.

Dr. Higginbottom has over 25 years of oncology experience and is a published, peer reviewed author in the field of oncology and cancer research. In her 15 years in healthcare market research, Dr. Higginbottom has held senior leadership positions at several multi-national healthcare market research and consulting firms, including Lifescience Dynamics, Kantar Health, and Ipsos Healthcare. Dr. Higginbottom began her career working for the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) where she trained in Histopathology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. Her research specialties include syndicated patient chart audits, patient journey work / buying process, KOL & influencer mapping as well as large segmentation studies.

Dr. Higginbottom holds a PhD in Leukemia from Queen Mary University of London.
