American Physician Partners’ Growth Trend Continues with the Addition of Seven Emergency Medicine Management Contracts in Indiana

Officials with American Physician Partners (“APP”), a leader in emergency medicine and hospital medicine management services, are pleased to announce the company’s expansion into Indiana with the start of seven newly awarded emergency department management contracts.

Through a relationship with Lutheran Health Network (LHN), APP assumed the emergency department staffing and management services for the following Indiana facilities effective March 1, 2020:

  • Bluffton Regional Medical Center (Bluffton)
  • Dukes Memorial Hospital (Peru)
  • Dupont Hospital (Fort Wayne)
  • Kosciusko Community Hospital (Warsaw)
  • Lutheran Hospital & Lutheran Children’s Hospital (Fort Wayne)
  • Lutheran ER Statewood (Fort Wayne)
  • St. Joseph Hospital (Fort Wayne)

LHN’s emergency network includes Level II adult and pediatric trauma centers, a separate pediatric emergency department staffed with pediatric emergency specialists, Level I Chest Pain Center accreditation, Cardiac Cath Lab accreditation, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center accreditation, and a Regional Burn Center. In its promotion of excellence in emergency medicine, LHN is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience, a higher level of care, and the shortest wait times throughout Northeast Indiana.
