Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) announced today the appointment of Nick Barry as Chief Financial Officer.
In his role as CFO, Nick will take full responsibility for aligning financial operations with the strategic goals of the business. His responsibilities will include optimizing the financial systems and developing financial models focused on various growth strategies. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, he will also maintain stakeholder and investor relations to ensure good corporate governance.

Nick has over 13 years’ experience working in multinational professional services businesses in various financial leadership roles. The most recent of these was in the role of Regional Head of Financial Systems and Reporting as part of the Senior Leadership team for a large multinational.
During his time in this role he was responsible for leading cross functional teams tasked with delivering multiple ERP system migrations for different entities within the group, the implementation of a Business Intelligence tool, financial and project reporting as well as business process design and implementation. Nick has extensive experience in reporting, modelling and strategic analysis. He also served as a Trustee on the company Pension Board.
Nick has a strong record of leading Process and Digital Transformation; this knowledge and experience will be of great benefit to ASL at this key point in the company’s growth journey.
Nick graduated from the University of South Africa with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Following this, he went on to complete his CIMA Professional qualification, becoming an Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and receiving the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
