Certified Physician Assistant Adalie Raymis has joined U.S. Dermatology Austin in the Spicewood Springs office.
Adalie Raymis grew up in Austin, Texas. After graduating on the Dean’s list from The University of Texas at Austin, Raymis pursued a career as a physician assistant. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2016.
Before joining U.S. Dermatology Partners, Raymis practiced in orthopedics. She was drawn to dermatology because of her experience with acne and other skin conditions throughout her life. She underwent a three-month training program led by Board Certified Dermatologist Dale Schaefer, MD, who met Raymis when she did a rotation at the Austin office. Schaefer serves as a preceptor for the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston’s Physician Assistant training program. Peers have recognized him in the prestigious Texas Monthly Super Doctors award since the inception of the award. “Adalie was one of the brightest PAs I had come across, so when the opportunity came about to bring on a new provider to the practice, I knew she would be the perfect fit,” said Schaefer.
Adalie’s knowledge, empathy, and passion enable her to provide excellent care for her patients. Raymis offers general dermatology services such as acne treatment, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, to name a few.
Adalie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State of Physician Assistant Examiners. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
When she isn’t at the office, you can find her spending time with her husband, exercising, discovering new restaurants, traveling, and playing with her two dogs, Leo and Sunny.
Raymis will join Board Certified Dermatologists Dr. Dale Schaefer, Dr. Margaret Hart, Dr. Tom Roark, and Certified-Physician Assistant, Rachel Miller.
