Access Physical Therapy & Wellness (ACCESS PT) invites the entire local community – including prospective patients and their families, as well as fellow health care providers – to an open house at their new physical therapy office at 209 Ella Grasso Turnpike, Windsor Locks.
The open house will be from 4-7pm on May 12th and will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony. David Chessen, PT, DPT is the director of ACCESS PT’s Windsor Locks physical therapy location. Dr. Chessen is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, and has extensive experience with general outpatient orthopaedic conditions such as spinal pain, as well as in working with athletes for injuries such as ACL tears and shoulder conditions. David is also certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), a diagnostic system that allows him to systematically identify and treat the cause of a patient’s pain.
“Our goal is to have each patient complete therapy with relief of their symptoms,” said Chessen. “We also want to give patients an understanding of their condition, tips to stay healthy, and an improved quality of life.”
