The Clear Comfort Cares Program honored Ability360 for its efforts to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through adaptive aquatic programs. Clear Comfort’s Advanced Oxidation (AOP) donation will enable Ability360 to deliver the best, healthiest and freshest swimming environment for people with disabilities to use to exercise, relax and enjoy.

“We are proud and honored to have been presented with the Clear Comfort Cares Program donation,” said Gus LaZear, Vice President & General Manager at Ability360. “This donation will have a significant impact on our ability to help individuals with disabilities improve the emotional, cognitive, physical and social aspects of their lives through our Recreational Therapy services.”

Ability360 is a non-profit corporation that offers and promotes programs to empower people with all disabilities to take personal responsibility so that they may achieve or continue independent lifestyles within the community. To recognize Ability360’s efforts to provide people with disabilities safe spaces for exercise, enjoyment and health, Clear Comfort is giving back at the community-level by donating an AOP supplemental sanitation pool system.

Ability360 was nominated for the Clear Comfort Cares Program by Aquatic Environmental Systems, a leading resource for swimming pool and water treatment professionals in the Southwest. In addition, AES is donating its services to install the Clear Comfort AOP system.

“We are happy to see Ability360 recognized for the positive impact they have on our community,” said Ralph Vatalaro, President at AES. “We appreciate Clear Comfort bringing its superior water quality to Ability360 and the people they serve.”

With Clear Comfort’s award-winning AOP, the winning aquatic facility or organization can provide swimmers and staff with the best, freshest and healthiest water and air quality with up to 90 percent reduction of harmful disinfection by-products. In addition, Clear Comfort’s AOP is third-party proven to safely reduce toxic chemical use and eliminate dangerous, chlorine-resistant microorganisms, such as Cryptosporidium.

“During these uncertain times, caring for our communities is more important than ever,” said Steve Berens, CEO at Clear Comfort. “We are proud to be able to partner with Ability360 to provide the best swimming environment for their clients. The work they do is truly extraordinary.”
