I want to encourage others that their voice deserves to be heard

Author Meghan Huston shares her story of overcoming abuse in From victim to Victory ($14.49, paperback, 9781662811340; $6.99, e-book, 9781662811357).
After suffering abuse in her youth, Huston felt that she lost her inner child. While receiving treatment for an eating disorder and trauma, she found the voice she needed to stand up to her abusers. Finally, she welcomed her inner child back to tell her story to others who need to find courage and hope.
“I want people to know there is more to life than merely surviving. I want to encourage others that their voice deserves to be heard,” said Huston.
Meghan Huston is a single mom who loves Jesus, coffee and laughing. She graduated with her bachelors in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling in 2018 and currently co-hosts a podcast with her best friend called “The Bees Knees”, where they talk about their mental health experiences.
