PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax, and advisory firms, announced today it has hired James (JJ) Cassidy to serve as Tax Director in the Firm’s New York City office. This strategic hire deepens the Firm’s industry-leading expertise in a wide range of tax planning and compliance service areas.

“JJ has a proven track record of providing exceptional tax planning advice and services to high-profile clients and organizations, and we couldn’t be happier to bring him on board,” said Kevin J. Cassidy has a diverse tax background with considerable experience serving small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individual clients. A significant part of his career has been spent working with clients, including athletes, entertainers, attorneys, executives, and documentary film makers. As an attorney, Cassidy also represents clients in tax controversies and tax debt settlements as well as in tax audits before various taxing authorities.

Cassidy is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Bar Association. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Hofstra University and his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law.
