This marks the 20th consecutive year of this intensive, three-day event that offers a wealth of information, expertise, networking opportunities and inspiration for representatives from both the buy and sell sides of healthcare and across all levels of the organization.

Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX) today announced early registration has opened for GHX Summit 20, scheduled for April 27-29, 2020 at the Gaylord National Resort, National Harbor, MD. Attendees can save $300 on each registration through January 24, 2020.

This marks the 20th consecutive year of this intensive, three-day event that offers a wealth of information, expertise, networking opportunities and inspiration for representatives from both the buy and sell sides of healthcare—providers, suppliers, distributors and GPOs—and across all levels of the organization, from executive to strategic to tactical. GHX Summit 20, themed “Better Together,” reflects the unique and collaborative nature of the conference.

This year will debut “Summit Central,” where attendees can make the most of face-to-face collaboration with business partners across the healthcare continuum, united in sharing the most advanced best practices, and tools and technologies to drive best-in-class business performance and patient care. Summit Central will feature hands-on interactive demos of GHX solutions, a dedicated networking area for provider / supplier scheduled meetings, GHX Store with space to assemble care packs for local charities and engaging Summit Central Talks.

GHX has also announced the first general session speaker for the Summit: Susan Dentzer, one of the nation’s most respected health and health policy thought leaders, and a frequent speaker and commentator on television and radio. Dentzer is a Senior Policy Fellow at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, the Washington, DC-based arm of Duke University that focuses on health system transformation, biopharmaceutical policy, and other key health policy issues. Dentzer will present findings from her recent book, Health Care Without Walls: A Roadmap for Reinventing U.S. Health Care, and insights on challenges, opportunities and supply chain implications.

GHX has opened nominations for its GHXcellence Awards program that annually honors the top performing and most forward-thinking organizations and individuals in the industry. Winners will be announced and recognized at an awards gala.

The GHXcellence Awards blend quantitative and qualitative criteria to honor leaders and healthcare innovation. The winners represent organizations and individuals that maximize automation, technology and best practices to drive out costs and improve patient care. Healthcare providers and suppliers of all sizes and geographies are welcome to submit nominations for the GHXcellence Awards through January 31, 2020.
