Cyclotron Earns GxP Audit Certification for Life Sciences and Healthcare Verticals

“GxP certification provides important peace-of-mind to our current and prospective clients in the life sciences and healthcare sectors that Cyclotron operates in compliance with the governing standards of their industries.”

Cloud computing platforms and services have truly become an enabling force for life sciences and healthcare companies in America, and Cyclotron is pleased to announce we recently received GxP Audit Certification as a cloud solution provider for these verticals.

In technical terms, GxP certification means Cyclotron is in compliance with the requirements of ICH E6 (R2) GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and (EU) GDPR.

“GxP certification provides important peace-of-mind to our current and prospective clients in the life sciences and healthcare sectors that Cyclotron operates in compliance with the governing standards of their industries,” says Amber Bahl, CEO of Cyclotron. “This certification means we use processes and controls that assure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data stored in the cloud and that we do what’s necessary and required to ensure our systems stay in a secured and validated state. It’s an incredibly important technical validation and testament to the work of our QA department and processes. GxP certification signals a ‘green light’ for Cyclotron as an appropriate and reliable technology partner for life sciences and healthcare organizations.”

Using cloud-based technologies allows life science and healthcare organizations to focus on advancing their work by enabling powerful analytics, allowing instantaneous scalability, shortening innovation timelines, and standardizing work processes across their organizations—all without the need for capital investment in IT resources.

For example, cloud technology was a major enabling force that allowed the life sciences sector to respond so swiftly to the public health crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

GxP refers to a set of regulations and guidelines (Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, etc.) that ensure the quality, integrity, and safety of products in regulated industries. The GxP Qualification Audit is a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by an independent body to assess adherence to these stringent regulations.

“It’s a testament to our ongoing commitment to quality, reliability, and trust,” adds Mr. Bahl. “As we continue to uphold these principles, we look forward to working with our partners in life sciences and healthcare to deliver innovative, life-improving, and life-saving solutions and products.”
