Twin Boro Physical Therapy Announces Relocation & Expansion of Clark NJ Location

Whether a Union County athlete or everyday person who just wants to get back to doing the things they love to do, our goal is to maximize and improve the function and quality of their lives.

Twin Boro Physical Therapy announces its Clark, New Jersey facility relocation and expansion.

Twin Boro Physical Therapy, New Jersey’s premier sports medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy practices, announced today the relocation and expansion of their Clark, NJ location to expand the clinic’s capabilities to better serve the needs of their community.

“Relocating and expanding from a 2,500 to a 6,000-square foot facility allows us to reach more patients within our existing community. This state-of-the-art facility has been specifically designed for our patients in mind and will have the area’s premier therapists,” said Andrew Lotsis, CEO of Twin Boro Physical Therapy. Now located at 70-76 Central Avenue, Clark NJ 07066 in the ShopRite Shopping Center, the new space features a “dynamic environment that promotes wellness and helps patients get back in the game.”

With 51 locations across sixteen counties in New Jersey, the newly relocated and expanded location in Clark, NJ, is now Twin Boro Physical Therapy’s largest facility and also home to an aquatic HydroWorx EVO treadmill and active turf.

“The expanded location offers one of the most advanced aquatic therapy tools for patients to safely accelerate the rehabilitation process with less pain,” says Aaron Abiog, PT, DPT, Director of the Clark, NJ location. Whether someone is rehabbing from a total joint replacement, a sports injury or is suffering from a chronic condition, the HydroWorx EVO “helps patients heal faster in a pain-free, safe environment,” he said.

Aquatic therapy is versatile and benefits a wide range of patients who are rehabbing a variety of conditions – from total knee replacement to spinal cord injury, in a non-weight bearing environment. By taking advantage of the body’s buoyancy in water, the HydroWorx EVO can reduce 20% to 90% of an individual’s body weight. This helps patients and athletes start rehabilitation much sooner due to substantially decreased joint compression. “The activity of walking on a treadmill while being supported in water provides very unique benefits for patients,” says Abiog. “Our underwater treadmill provides the opportunity to regain normal gait patterns with pain-free motion early in their recovery.”

By installing the HydroWorx EVO aquatic therapy system, Twin Boro Physical Therapy is now able to bring state-of-the-art treatment options to Clark, New Jersey.

As one of Twin Boro Physical Therapy’s flagship locations, the premier Clark location will also feature a performance enhancing turf area, over 20 treatment stations and a full line of equipment to help patients get back to their full function. Lotsis says, “Whether a Union County athlete or everyday person who just wants to get back to doing the things they love to do, our goal is to maximize and improve the function and quality of their lives.”
