I am honored to lead HHAeXchange during a time of rapid growth for the homecare industry, and have the ability to work alongside our team and build upon the company’s industry leading position by delivering technology and services that meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients.

HHAeXchange, a leading provider of homecare management solutions for providers, managed care organizations (MCOs) and state Medicaid agencies, announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Paul Joiner as Chief Executive Officer. Joiner joins the company as it enters its next phase of growth and will lead the charge in enhancing HHAeXchange’s products and solutions to meet the ever-evolving needs of today’s homecare providers and payers. Joiner succeeds Greg Strobel, who served as the company’s CEO for the past eight years.

The appointment of Joiner comes as the company has announced recent milestones, including its entry into new markets as the state’s selected EVV aggregator, growth in client base, and expansion of its Partner Connect program. HHAeXchange has also made the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies for the past eight years in a row, and has expanded its network of connected providers to more than 10,000.

“Paul is a dynamic leader who has held various leadership positions in healthcare organizations that serve payers and providers, and his experience could not align more with HHAeXchange’s current growth strategy,” said Andy Hurd, HHAeXchange board member and a partner with Cressey & Company. “With his expertise in scaling and optimizing operations for leading healthcare companies, Paul will play an integral role in growing HHAeXchange’s team and technology, positioning the company for future growth as it seeks to further support customers and the homecare industry at large.”

A seasoned leader with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Joiner most recently served as CEO at Kipu Health, a software company focused on behavioral health, leading the formation of teams that improved product and service delivery, ultimately driving better outcomes for customers and scaling for operational success.

“I am honored to lead HHAeXchange during a time of rapid growth for the homecare industry, and have the ability to work alongside our team and build upon the company’s industry leading position by delivering technology and services that meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients,” said Joiner. “I look forward to continuing my passion of improving care services and eliminating waste in healthcare by deploying innovative technology and investing in service and support teams to help providers and payers realize better outcomes for their organizations and the members they serve.”

In addition to the new CEO appointment, Jon Lauck has been named HHAeXchange Chairman of the Board. Lauck is an independent Chairman with 25 years of experience in founder, executive and advisory roles at several category-defining technology companies.

Lauck added, “The homecare industry is ripe for change, and HHAeXchange is at the forefront of making care more simple, effective, and transparent by offering the most comprehensive solution that connects the entire homecare ecosystem in one platform. I look forward to the opportunity to work closely with Paul and the entire team at HHAeXchange as we expand our depth even more through innovative technology, service and support.”

These strategic appointments further advance HHAeXchange’s ongoing commitment to provide exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction. Looking ahead, HHAeXchange will be innovating on its product roadmap and expanding its platform, as well as investing in its service and support teams, to deliver more innovative tools and solutions that enable better technology in the home, improve care collaboration, and drive more efficient workflows.
