Doug Poole began writing after retirement. His first marriage of 42 years revealed years of learning that caused him to grow in the Lord and expand his understanding. After his wife passed away, he started writing what he has learned through life stories and biblical applications. Even after getting remarried, Poole continued to learn, made apparent by the results evident in his life. He is also the author of OBEDIENCE: The One Thing God Wants Most. Besides writing, Poole enjoys riding his Harley with friends and making children’s toys with woodworking.
