All Ways Caring HomeCare announced today its partnership with the national nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels to support caregivers through its “Women of Valor” program. Focusing on female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill and injured Service Members and Veterans, the San Antonio-based non-profit provides Women of Valor caregivers with encouragement through personalized cards, letters, and care packages, as well as services to address the many challenges caregivers face while supporting their loved ones.

“We are thrilled that All Ways Caring is providing us the opportunity to bring these much-needed services to our caregivers free of charge,” said Amy Palmer, Soldiers’ Angels President and CEO. “With the challenges that caregivers face on a daily basis, we hope the love and encouragement offered through this comprehensive program and by their Angel provides them with a little bit of strength and inspiration.”

“We honor our country’s Veterans by delivering the high-quality care and services they need to maintain their independence and dignity in the place they call home,” said Lisa King, All Ways Caring HomeCare Regional Vice President. “Our partnership with Soldiers’ Angels is another way we demonstrate our commitment to current and former members of the armed forces.”

Support services provided to Women of Valor caregivers include: telemedicine, telecounseling and telepsychiatry services provided by MDLIVE; virtual groups and activities to help build relationships and enjoy needed self-care time; resource materials written by subject matter experts; a welcome box and quarterly pampering gifts; and the support of volunteer Angels they can call upon throughout their caregiving journey.

Women of Valor caregivers may be the wife, girlfriend, mother or other female relative of the wounded hero. All caregivers are vetted to ensure eligibility and are then approved for the program. To learn more and to register for the program, visit Women of Valor.
