Donor Alliance chief administrative officer, Laura Jeffries, has joined the 2023 Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx), a nonprofit helping organizations improve performance and achieve results. Jeffries will serve as one of the ten-member Board of Directors.

RMPEx is a program dedicated to enabling organizations to evolve and succeed through the effective application of Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. RMPEx is the regional chapter of the prestigious national Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, established by Congress and President Ronald Reagan. It is the only presidential-level award for quality in the U.S. Each year, RMPEx formally recognizes role-model applicants from the Rocky Mountain region for performance excellence achievements with four levels of awards.

“Laura has been instrumental to the success and advancement of Donor Alliance’s own organizational processes and will make an excellent addition to the RMPEx board,” said Jennifer Prinz, president and CEO of Donor Alliance. “Her dedication to continuous improvement has and will continue to produce tangible benefits for our community. We are proud to have her as a resource for our own organization, and of her dedication to helping other organizations on their own performance excellence journeys.”

As chief administrative officer for Donor Alliance, Jeffries helps lead a nearly 200-member workforce dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Jeffries’ expertise in organizational development helped Donor Alliance develop a culture of high engagement that led the organization to the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2018. Jeffries also played a leadership role in Donor Alliance achieving RMPEx’s highest state honor of Peak Performance in 2015 and 2021.

“Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence is honored to have Laura Jeffries join our board of directors,” said Michael Gratz, Executive Director of RMPEx. “Laura’s passion for excellence and leadership will bring strategic value to help us fulfill our vision to ignite, equip and accelerate all organizations to achieve sustainable excellence.”
