Begin to Heal, the first digital, on-demand wellness platform in the US, designed to book sessions with curated holistic wellness and alternative medicine practitioners was acquired by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, (IIN), the world’s largest health & nutrition school, based out of New York.

Begin to Heal was a first-of-its-kind telemedicine platform for holistic wellness when it launched in early 2019 in New York. With a wide range of offerings, users could book sessions for various types of holistic wellness services including Acupuncture, Integrative Medicine, Energy Healing, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching, Spiritual Coaching, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Therapy and Health & Nutrition Coaching. Begin to Heal’s goal was to help those suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, cancer, addiction, menopause and other health issues to heal naturally with minimal to no side effects, by incorporating natural remedies into their lifestyle.

Begin to Heal enabled video sessions as well as in person sessions through its website and app.

It was also a library of meditations, digital online courses and articles written by experts.

This revolutionary platform had acquired over 15,000 users within a few months of launch. The contemporary design & user interface coupled with the convenience of booking a session in 3 simple clicks, made Begin to Heal an immediate success with customers.

Pooja Khanna, founder of Begin to Heal and a former Fortune 500 strategy and business executive for 13 years with American Express, Microsoft & IBM, is passionate about the wellness, nutrition and mental health space and is looking for her next venture in the UK or India. “I’m on a grass roots mission to put the “care” back in health care, to reunite healing, medicine and spirituality, to inspire people to heal naturally” quoting this dynamic health-tech entrepreneur.
