Enabling the most effective homecare ecosystem is at the core of our company’s work. Now supporting the state of Mississippi, we can ensure our software is helping all involved meet their individual goals and compliance requirements while keeping member care at the forefront – where it belongs.

HHAeXchange, the leading provider of homecare management solutions for managed care organizations, providers, and state Medicaid agencies, announced today the company has been selected by FEI Systems, a leading information technology, services, and analysis organization, to serve as the subcontractor in providing an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) platform in Mississippi. Working with the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, the addition of HHAeXchange’s EVV platform to FEI’s current Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) solution will connect payers and providers across the state, allowing for greater visibility and transparency and making it easier for stakeholders to monitor their network’s performance and ensure quality of member care.
With a substantial population of individuals over 60, as well as 33 percent of residents considered disabled, homecare in Mississippi is heavily in demand. As the state’s aggregator, HHAeXchange will provide comprehensive oversight and management of Mississippi’s EVV data in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act’s EVV mandate to serve more than 40,000 lives and support approximately 6,000 homecare provider agencies and 100,000 workers.
“The HHAeXchange team is incredibly pleased to partner with FEI Systems to aggregate Mississippi’s Medicaid visit data as part of a purpose-built solution designed to fit the state’s changing homecare needs,” said Greg Strobel, CEO of HHAeXchange. “Enabling the most effective homecare ecosystem is at the core of our company’s work. Now supporting the state of Mississippi, we can ensure our software is helping all involved meet their individual goals and compliance requirements while keeping member care at the forefront – where it belongs.”
Currently, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid provides long-term services and supports under Fee-for-Service and is shifting from a closed model to an open model through HHAeXchange’s efforts. The state will benefit from greater flexibility, also giving the division of Medicaid an added benefit of being able to move providers along the value-based care continuum, while further ensuring caregivers can focus on preventative care for members.
“Our organization has been committed to providing solutions that contribute to the delivery of personalized, whole-person care for more than two decades, and this partnership will allow us to expand our ability to support the Mississippi Division of Medicaid in serving the most vulnerable members of our communities,” said R.J. Gilson, Chief Growth Officer of FEI Systems. “The addition of HHAeXchange’s market-leading EVV advances our mission to connect every dimension of health and human services, and we are proud to partner with them in providing this vital service.”
