As an internationally recognized physician, Dr. Osman is passionate about the minimization of surgical trauma to his patients. Mainly focusing in endoscopic and endoscopically-assisted spine surgery, Dr. Osman practices traditional spine surgery where necessary.

Dr. Osman, is a pioneer in endoscopic and endoscopically-assisted spine surgery having developed several techniques, which are currently adopted globally. More recently, he developed “The Osman Approach” which encompasses comprehensive treatment protocol including clinical evaluation, image-based classification of the spinal disease entities, diagnostic/therapeutic injections, rehabilitation, and customized approach to least invasive spine surgery, directly addressing the target anatomic entity while causing least collateral damage to normal structures of the spine. With this approach, which includes more than 10,000 surgeries on patients from 5 countries, and over 30 years of experience, he aims to limit the need and extent of surgical trauma will addressing the source of pain. The least invasive approach permits surgery on outpatient basis. Doctor Osman trains surgeons globally in the technologies he developed and, regularly lectures at international spine conferences, globally.

Dr. Osman maintains a professional fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
