Dental Care Alliance Expands Texas Footprint with Addition of Alsbury Dental and Lifeway Dental

Dental Care Alliance (DCA) is proud to announce the expansion of its footprint in the Dallas Fort Worth area with the addition of Alsbury Dental and Lifeway Dental. Alsbury Dental and Lifeway Dental is a four-doctor, two-location general dentistry practice with locations in Burleson and Alvarado, Texas, south of Fort Worth.

The practice, led by Dr. Blake Foust and four associates, is passionate about their shared philosophy to make patients feel comfortable and at ease with each visit to the dentist. By staying current in dental technologies and advancements, the entire staff is well-educated, comprehensively trained, and empowered to provide friendly, personalized experiences ensuring every patient feels that they are in good hands.

Alsbury Dental, located in Burleson, TX, is a full-service family practice offering a range of services including teeth whitening, sedation dentistry, SureSmile® clear aligners, and more.

Lifeway Dental, located in Alvardo, TX, offers a wide array of services including general family dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, bridges, crowns, dental emergencies, dentures, fillings, root canals, teeth whitening and more.

Dr. Blake Foust earned his dental degree and implantology certificate at Loma Linda University after completing an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Southern Adventist University. He started Alsbury Dental in 1989 and in addition to general dentistry, is experienced in providing patients with dental implants. Dr. Foust holds a fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Board of Implant Dentistry, where he is also a diplomate. Dr. Foust is joined by four associates:


  • Dr. Robert Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in math from Baylor University, before entering Baylor College of Dentistry to earn his doctorate in dental medicine. Dr. Davis achieved honor roll status and was awarded 4th Academic Honors at Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed an AEGD Residency and then became part of our practice in 2016.
  • Dr. Megan Belken studied at Baylor University, earning her undergraduate degree with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. She achieved her doctorate in dental science (DDS) at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency with the University of Michigan where she focused on hospital dentistry; heavy in emergencies, special needs, and dental care for those undergoing treatment for cancer.
  • Dr. Huyen Nguyen considers herself a Texan girl by heart, although she was born in Louisiana. She has lived in Dallas all her life, attending kindergarten through high school where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class. After high school, she continued her education at The University of Texas at Austin where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and Minor in Business. She then pursued her Doctorate degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
  • Dr. Devarshee Patel is a proud Texas resident and grew up in Coppell, TX. She graduated from Coppell High School then went to pursue her undergraduate and a graduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her doctorate degree from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.

This affiliation continues the rapid growth and momentum for the organization and brings DCA’s footprint in Texas to 34 allied practices, and DCA’s total footprint to over 390 allied practices across the US. “Dr. Foust built his practices with an unwavering focus on providing a premier patient experience, something that remains a keystone of each office’s culture,” said Mike Calder, Vice President, Business Development for DCA. “We are proud to enhance our network with Dr. Foust, the associate doctors, and his team; and we are looking forward to supporting them in their continued success.”

With the growing footprint in the DFW area consisting of eight practice locations that collectively cover all dental services, DCA is strategically building market density to serve the lifetime needs of patients in these communities.
