EnsoData, the healthcare technology company helping clinicians uncover disease while patients sleep, announces the expansion of its leadership roster, adding over 75 years of clinical expertise. EnsoData welcomes Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Nathaniel Watson, Sales Engineer Kimi Clark, RPSGT, RST, CCSH, FAAST, Sleep Coach Lacey Adams, RPSGT, CCSH, and Regional Sales Manager Jessica Moore, RPSGT to accelerate its mission to make high-quality data analysis more accurate, efficient, and affordable.
With the introduction of Dr. Watson in the new CMO role, EnsoData is strengthening its commitment to advance the state of knowledge on the role of sleep on human health and disease. EnsoData plans to expand both within and beyond the realm of sleep diagnosis through AI research, the improvement in clinical quality of existing products, and the translation of new products from the AI research “lab bench” to the patient bedside.
“With 20+ years in patient care and clinical leadership roles at leading provider organizations, Nate brings exceptional healthcare experience and first-hand physician perspective to EnsoData’s leadership team,” said Chris Fernandez, CEO and Co-Founder of EnsoData. “I’m confident Nate will elevate our ability to continue raising the industry bar for the quality and standard of evidence leveraged to bring new products to market.”
Dr. Watson joins EnsoData as the former President of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). With over 20 years of experience in neurology and sleep medicine, he has written over 100 peer-reviewed research publications and has decades of personal experience taking care of patients with sleep disorders. He also has past experience teaching as a Professor at the University of Washington in Seattle and working as the Co-Director of the University of Washington Medicine Sleep Center as well as Director of the Harborview Medical Center Sleep Clinic.
“In this new role, I’m excited to advance the sleep health care discussion with payors, employers, providers and patients to optimize systems to affordably maximize the populations’ sleep health,” said Dr. Watson. “The EnsoData culture of thinking outside the box and imagining how to transform sleep medicine is the perfect avenue for reaching that goal.”
In addition to Dr. Watson, the company hired Clark, Moore, and Adams to build out its clinical team, which includes Andrea Ramberg, MS, RPSGT, CCSH, and Shahnawaz Khan, RPSGT. Clark joins the team as a Sales Engineer, bringing over 15 years of proven experience in growing and leading a health organization in her past role as the Director of Clinical Operations at Medbridge Healthcare. Prior to Moore’s new role as a Regional Sales Manager at EnsoData, she was a Lead Technologist at West Virginia University Health-East Center and has crucial experience in integrating new technologies into existing hospital systems that will help with the adoption and implementation of EnsoData’s technologies. Adams joins EnsoData as a Sleep Coach with over seven years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and Technical Director from St. Vincent’s One Nineteen Health and Wellness Center. Her expertise in diagnostic testing, treatment, and management of sleep apnea and other sleep disorders will allow EnsoData to further educate and support sleep patients in improving their sleep hygiene and quality of sleep.
