“With AvevoRx, we are investing in a future that prioritizes a patient’s most basic, fundamental needs – a welcoming human voice on the other end of the phone, a single point of contact for care navigation – and making that a part of their customized care plan.”
GREENSBORO, N.C. (PRWEB)
October 27, 2022
A group of seasoned, specialty pharmacy and home infusion executives, with a combined 130 years of industry experience, have announced the formation of AvevoRx, a national, independent provider of specialty infusion pharmacy services. The venture brings bespoke services and clinical care to patients facing various complex and chronic disorders who receive a range of intravenous medication therapies. AvevoRx is based out of Greensboro, North Carolina.
The AvevoRx co-founders are industry veterans of private and public companies who serve as the management team and bring deep experience in building and scaling specialty infusion therapy platforms. The company entered the market by acquiring Mid Valley Health Services, a long-established infusion company based in Modesto, Calif. Concurrent with the Mid Valley acquisition, AvevoRx opened a new pharmacy distribution center in Greensboro, N.C. The company expects to execute at least one additional acquisition before the year’s end.
“In building AvevoRx, we are investing in a future that prioritizes a patient’s most basic, fundamental needs – a welcoming human voice on the other end of the phone, a single point of contact for care navigation – and making that a part of their customized care plan,” said Robin Johnson, Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of AvevoRx.
“The addition of Mid Valley Health Services to the AvevoRx family reinforces the core tenants of our specialized, personal care model by bringing in an amazing group of accomplished professionals in the California market,” said Lauren Pumphrey, Co-founder, and head of western-U.S. sales. “With a track record of more than 25 years of regional excellence, AvevoRx has the right foundation upon which to build.”
“Specialty infusion pharmacies are not always special, so we have set out to change that,” said Courtney Remley, Co-Founder, and head of eastern-U.S. sales. “AvevoRx is committed to remaining an independent provider that earns its reputation for scrappy, hard work and going the extra mile for patients.”
The founding management team for AvevoRx includes:
