HMP Global, the world’s largest omnichannel healthcare events and education company, today announced that its Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (AIBD) is partnering with the Pan American Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation (PANCCO) to offer a two-hour, Spanish-language preconference symposium featuring talks from global experts in the field.
The conference, now in its 21st year, will be held December 5-7 at the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Orlando. The partnership with PANCCO allows both organizations to promote awareness and provide clinicians with the latest updates in IBD research and patient care.
“The incidence and prevalence of IBD, which includes ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, has increased significantly worldwide, including in Latin American countries,” said Dr. Guillermo Veitia, President-Elect of PANCCO. “Through this partnership with AIBD, we are increasing awareness of IBD, which is essential to diagnose and treat patients with these conditions in a timely manner. By engaging in ongoing education for clinicians, we can significantly impact the quality of life for our patients.”

We believe the growth and success of AIBD comes from our dedication to offering a comprehensive scientific agenda that is clinically relevant, scientifically state of the art, and the most effective in addressing the educational needs of our attendees, while always remaining focused on the goal of enhancing the lives of patients with IBD.”
