TruBlue Total House Care Announces Strategic Partnership with Comfort Keepers to Help Seniors Age in Place Safely

TruBlue Total House Care®, the 80-plus-unit home services franchise, has announced a strategic partnership with Comfort Keepers®), the award-winning in-home care franchise with 700 offices around the world. With this partnership, Comfort Keepers will recognize the TruBlue franchise system as a preferred provider of handyman services and senior home modifications.

“Comfort Keepers is a highly respectable senior care company offering in-home personal and companion care for seniors and other adults,” said TruBlue President Sean Fitzgerald. “This is the latest in an exciting wave of nationwide partnerships we’ve announced recently. A safe home environment is key to aging in place successfully, and working with a large and reputable organization like Comfort Keepers will help in creating awareness of our services for seniors.”

TruBlue is the only franchise system focused on ongoing home maintenance and handyman services for seniors and busy adults. TruBlue Total House Care subscription program provides help around the house, both inside and out. Home maintenance for seniors includes ongoing services such as to-do list chores, handyman repairs and home maintenance. “We recognize for seniors to maintain healthy independent lives in their homes, they often need help with home repair and other modifications that fall outside of in-home care. We are pleased to partner with TruBlue to help provide access to a helpful suite of services,” said Carl McManus, CEO, Comfort Keepers North America.

“The booming senior care industry faces many challenges centered around ensuring the home is safe and well-maintained,” said Fitzgerald. “Senior care companies provide a much-needed service, but it is focused on the individual, and they understand that we provide an equally-needed service focused on the home environment. Now, as we continue to grow, our alliance with Comfort Keepers will help educate families and seniors on how to age in place successfully, especially as both companies become a greater advocate for aging seniors.”

“Our goal at CKFI is to support seniors in the location they call home, with every supportive service available in the space of aging. We believe addressing the safety and proper maintenance of the senior home to be an advantage to the seniors that we are so privileged to serve,” commented Rhea Jones, National Director, Strategy and Business Development for Comfort Keepers.

Comfort Keepers was founded in 1998 by a Registered Nurse to provide a higher standard of in-home care. The brand’s offices are independently owned and operated, allowing each location to have a personal and local touch. The Comfort Keepers brand promise is to elevate the human spirit, recognizing that no matter the age, positivity and a daily dose of joy can increase physical and mental wellbeing.

Looking ahead, Fitzgerald says this strategic alliance will help TruBlue advance its goal of continuing to generate awareness around the importance of taking care of the home and doing regular maintenance to create an ongoing safer environment for seniors.

“Our new collaborations with companies like Comfort Keepers will be a tremendous resource for us,” said Fitzgerald. “The opportunity to align with Comfort Keepers is going to allow us to realize our shared visions of giving seniors everywhere the resources they need to successfully age in place.”
