DC Talk Therapy Continues Its Growth in Washington, D.C.

Jessica Goodman, LPC, has joined DC Talk Therapy, a psychotherapy group practice in Washington, D.C., specializing in treating young adults. Ms. Goodman becomes the 14th clinician at DC Talk Therapy, which earlier this year celebrated its 10th anniversary,

Ms. Goodman works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and life transitions. She uses a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness.

Ms. Goodman’s addition means DC Talk Therapy can offer more evening appointments to its clients, something that owner David Sternberg is excited about.

“We’re thrilled to have Jessica join us,” said Sternberg. “Since the pandemic began, the demand for psychotherapy has been overwhelming. We get so many inquiries for evening hours, in particular. Adding Jessica to our team definitely fills a need.”

Ms. Goodman will conduct all of her sessions over Zoom or Doxy, two HIPAA-compliant video platforms that all DC Talk Therapy clinicians are using. She is licensed to practice in Washington, D.C., Maryland and North Carolina.

Prior to joining DC Talk Therapy, Ms. Goodman worked at a group practice in Greensboro, N.C.
