B. F. Christman, a retired educator and school counselor, has completed her new book “At First Click: Surviving Codependency”: a gripping and potent nonfiction work that shares the author’s experiences with dishonest men she met through online dating. After believing these men, she gave up life as she knew it, ignoring all the red flags warning her, and was forced to pay the consequences.

Because of her background, others expected her to be perfect and solve all problems she might encounter; however, she discovered that she was not perfect, but instead was human and capable of making mistakes like anyone else. When the world seemed like it was against her, she didn’t give up but instead faced her addiction, embraced the twelve steps of recovery, planned to correct her mistakes, and set out to fix them.

Author B. F. Christman discusses her work, writing, “This story is being told to help others who have found themselves vulnerable at some point in their life, whether they have experienced the breakup of a serious relationship, lost someone they loved, or experienced relationship trauma once or multiple times in their life. My story is one that reveals the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and financial pain an individual can feel or endure at different stages of life. Not only does it involve an addiction that is turning this technological world upside down, but it also includes the journey that one takes leading up to that addiction as well as the struggles and victories following recovery.”

Published by Page Publishing, B. F. Christman’s inspiring tale highlights the courage necessary to persevere in the face of obstacles.

Readers who wish to experience this meaningful work can purchase “At First Click: Surviving Codependency” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
