ScoreDoc Launches Its Android App to Help You Compare Healthcare Providers’ Reputation

We developed ScoreDoc to provide comprehensive review information that patients can use for their healthcare provider selection. The ScoreDoc android app would make it easier for patients to get the reputation scorecard of doctors and save it for future reference without compromising their privacy.

ScoreDoc has launched a new app for its android users. The new application has an easy-to-use interface, allowing users to compare online reputation scorecards of healthcare providers or practices available in their vicinity for optimal selection for their healthcare needs.

With this new app, users can effortlessly utilize several features of the ScoreDoc platform to generate a comprehensive “review scorecard” of healthcare providers like doctors, medical practices, urgent care centers, dentists, etc. Users can also save the link for future visits securely and privately if they prefer to do that. Using the ScoreDoc android app will help them compare healthcare providers’ reputations to make an informed decision.

ScoreDoc creates a comprehensive reputation scorecard of the prospective healthcare provider by combining the sentimental analysis report with the average online ratings, number, and recency of reviews on the most relevant review sites. It also provides the user with a percentile score of the provider/practice they are considering to visit by comparing the score of several other healthcare practitioners within that specialty in the same city/region.

ScoreDoc App users also have quick access to see any doctor’s profile on leading review platforms with a tap on the link, which will help them make an informed decision on their own. On this App launch occasion, Ajay Prasad emphasized that consumers’ privacy is critical for ScoreDoc. He said that ScoreDoc recognizes the importance of keeping medical information private, and thus it never saves any information about its user in a cookie. It simply keeps track of how many times consumers checked a given doctor’s or a medical facility’s online reputation scorecard, not who checked it. Users are also welcome to save the reputation scorecard link for future use or to return and redo the scorecard.

About ScoreDoc

ScoreDoc founder, Ajay Prasad, is a digital marketer and online healthcare reputation evangelist. He founded ScoreDoc to provide internet reputation scores for healthcare providers such as physicians, dentists, chiropractors, hospitals, and other medical professionals. ScoreDoc looks at reviews on Google, HealthGrades, WebMD, RateMD, Facebook, Yelp, and Vitals, the seven most popular online review platforms for doctors.

ScoreDoc uses its proprietary formula to calculate the overall score based on the average online ratings, the number of reviews, the recency of reviews on each platform, the quality of the reviews, and the sentiment analysis of the review comments. The formula uses a comprehensive patient online review usage study conducted in 2021.
