DuPont Electronics & Imaging, a business unit of DuPont (NYSE: DD), is proud to announce three of its most talented early career professionals have been named to the 2019 Delaware Business Times DBT40 list. Murali Theivanayagam, Sandhya Thiyagarajan and Lea Williams have all been recognized in a prestigious group honoring 40 of Delaware’s brightest and most accomplished business professionals under the age of 40.

Murali Theivanayagam, Ph.D., is the Delaware Removal Chemistry R&D Leader for DuPont Electronics & Imaging. He leads a team of scientists, engineers and technologists to develop new polishing and cleaning chemistries for use in the fabrication of integrated circuits. Sandhya Thiyagarajan is a Quality Engineer, a role in which she partners with manufacturing operations and customers to ensure DuPont’s CMP pads meet or exceed the high standards required for semiconductor fabrication. Lea Williams is the R&D Team Leader for rapid customer sampling in Newark. She and her team are responsible for enabling DuPont’s global customers to test specialized CMP product samples quickly. Using Six Sigma methodology, she has shortened the sample delivery time for a faster cycle of learning with customers. “We are so proud to see three of our own recognized among Delaware’s most talented young leaders on the DBT40 list,” said Leslie Croskey, Newark Site Leader, DuPont Electronics & Imaging. “Lea, Murali and Sandhya are each individuals who have embraced opportunities for growth and development at DuPont, providing value for our customers and modeling leadership and professionalism for others early in their careers.”

All three of DuPont’s honorees are actively engaged in community outreach and professional development through DuPont’s employee resource groups, affinity networks for building a culture of inclusion such as the DuPont Women’s Network and DuPont Asia Group.

“Each of our 2019 DBT 40 honorees are making contributions to our community through their professional and community achievement,” said Delaware Business Times Publisher Rob Martinelli. “They represent a great cross-section of the entire Delaware community and are making a difference with their intelligence, initiative and innovation.”
