Internet of Things America LLC (IoT America) today announced a change to its executive leadership structure. Michelle Reese has been named president and assumes the responsibilities of Pete DeNagy, who will serve on the company’s board of directors, effective immediately.
Reese, who has performed as the company’s senior vice president of strategic alliances since July 2018, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision in all revenue-related activities including the launch of a new, innovative partner program that uniquely adapts to multiple business models and partners’ needs and rewards achievement across key strategic endeavors and sales priorities. Built on simplicity, flexibility, and profitability for our partners, IoT America’s IoT Next channel program greatly simplifies how channel partners deliver compelling IoT solutions to their customer base increasing their bottom line. She has been instrumental in growing the partnerships that comprise IoT America’s managed services offering, which leverages solutions and the connected wireless technology of the internet of things to create greater business value and quality of life for customers in traditionally underserviced and rural areas.
“Michelle has worn every hat possible in her technology career, and she is a proven channel chief who focuses on what matters – making a positive difference in the lives of others,” said Pete DeNagy, co-founder of IoT America. “Her experience has delivered much to IoT America’s success, and as president, she will continue to drive innovation and advocacy improving access to connected technologies in hard-to-reach places.”
Prior to joining IoT America, Reese served as president and CEO of two companies focused on breakthrough technologies. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University and a master’s degree in technology commercialization from the McCombs Business School at The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to solving the problems of connectivity deserts, Reese is also passionate about solving the global food crisis.
DeNagy, who has served in the role of president since he co-founded the company, will focus exclusively on strategic, visionary initiatives on the company’s board of directors. His primary focus will be on leveraging his extensive telecommunications industry experience and connections to accelerate IoT America’s growth.
“IoT America would not be at this stage in its development if not for Pete’s dedication to exceptional growth through innovation”, said Dan Croft, CEO of IoT America. “When he brought Michelle on board to build our strategic alliances, the plan was to move her into the role of president as soon as possible. I am proud that within 16 months of her joining the company, she is ready to take over so that Pete can focus all of his efforts on the bigger picture.”
