Dr. Jin Kim, dual-board certified periodontist and Director of the West Coast Study Club (WCSC), hosted the recent Livestream WCSC event titled, “The New Normal Approach to Patient Acceptance” featuring guest speaker Dr. Christian Coachman. The event helped dental professionals understand navigating patient care amidst the anxieties that come with receiving treatment during a pandemic. He helped participants of the study club identify ways to break through barriers in communication and effectively connect with patients, so they will be less on the defense and more likely to accept treatment recommendations.
