“In a little over a decade, we’ve gone from our first procedure as a company, to over 80 centers across the United States… We are excited to be at the Annual Congress again this year, with the goal of sharing our success and inspiring more leading physicians to join our rapidly expanding team.”

Center for Vein Restoration (CVR), the nation’s largest physician-lead vein center and a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of venous insufficiency, is a top-level sponsor of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society 33rd Annual Congress (https://www.avlscongress.org/). The conference will be held November 7-10, 2019 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. CVR will be in booth #213 and will be hosting daily hands-on learning sessions on a variety of advanced vein care modalities.

CVR will first be sponsoring a pre-Congress hike, the 2019 Congress Expedition, hosted by the Foundation for Venous and Lymphatic Disease on Wednesday, November 6. The hike will take conference registrants on a four-and-a-half-mile trail around the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Dr. Nick Morrison of CVR will be one of the leaders of the hike.

On Saturday, November 9, Dr. Sanjiv Lakhanpal, President and CEO of CVR, will lead, “Stronger Together, Part II” a breakfast session designed to show how CVR has become a trail-blazer in the world of venous and lymphatic medicine, and how innovation and dedication of venous physicians will keep CVR at the forefront of the field.

“In a little over a decade, we’ve gone from our first procedure as a company, to over 80 centers across the United States,” said Dr. Lakhanpal. “We are excited to be at the Annual Congress again this year, with the goal of sharing our success and inspiring more leading physicians to join our rapidly expanding team.”

“If you talk to any doctor in field, you will hear about the same challenges over and over,” continued Dr. Lakhanpal. “We believe doctors should have the freedom to focus on their specialty and their patients. A CVR partnership means having the tools to make your business succeed.”

The ACP Annual Congress is a comprehensive, international program, convening the foremost experts on vein care from around the world. The Congress will address the full spectrum of deep and superficial vein care in didactic, interactive, debate, and hands-on simulation sessions. Over 50 doctors from the Center for Vein Restoration physician team will be in attendance, with several participating as speakers or panelists in sessions throughout the conference.

ABOUT VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY

Venous insufficiency, the cause of significant suffering due to the sequelae of venous hypertension, most commonly arises as achy, tired, and heavy legs. It may or may not be associated with varicose veins, spider veins, or skin changes including venous ulcerations and indiscriminately affects between 30–40 million Americans. Numerous factors including age, weight, prolonged sitting or standing, genetics, or a history of DVT (blood clots) can increase the risk of developing this common and often underdiagnosed disorder. Treatment options have evolved to an array of minimally invasive procedures in an office setting.
