Comagine Health, a leading national nonprofit health care consulting firm, named three new board members and three new officers to its corporate board of directors. Following the merger between Qualis Health and HealthInsight, Marc Bennett, Comagine Health’s president and chief executive officer, and the Board Chair, Hugh Straley, MD, recognized that a broader range of diverse expertise is needed at the corporate board level to achieve the organization’s mission and vision.

The new board officers are:
Pam Mariea-Nason, RN, MBA
Chair
Pam Mariea-Nason has held many leadership roles in health care, including COO for Tuality Health Alliance, director of health policy and community engagement for Care Oregon and executive for the community health division with Providence Health & Services, Oregon.
Dorothy Teeter, MHA
Vice Chair
Dorothy Teeter is the principal/owner of Teeter Health Strategies consultancy, specializing in value-based payment reform and related health system transformation. She has over 30 years of public and private health system leadership and executive experience, including serving as the director of the Washington State Health Care Authority.
Chris Bosse
Secretary/Treasurer
Chris Bosse is the vice president of government relations for Renown Health. She provides strategic input and direction for developing and leading government relations and associated community relations for Renown.
The new board members are:
Elizabeth Mitchell — Elizabeth Mitchell is president and CEO of the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH), a nonprofit organization focused on improving health outcomes, experience and affordability for consumers and purchasers across the United States. Ms. Mitchell advances the organization’s strategic focus areas of redesigning care delivery, driving affordability and optimizing health care markets.
Rebecca Kavoussi — Rebecca Kavoussi is currently the president, west at Landmark Health, a 24/7 home-based at-risk medical group serving multi-chronic patient populations across the nation. She is chair of the Landmark Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Council. She has also held leadership positions at Community Health Plan of Washington, Group Health, and xG Health, an arm of Geisinger.
Rod Betit — Rod Betit’s career in health care administration and health policy includes more than two decades directing Medicaid and other medical assistance programs in Alaska and Utah. In addition, he served as president and CEO of the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association and the Utah Hospital Association.
