The Veterinary Virtual Care Association Launches New Telehealth Community Network

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (PRWEB)

The Veterinary Virtual Care Association (VVCA) grew rapidly alongside the explosion of tele-everything technology in the veterinary space. In order to stay on the cutting edge of where virtual care (telehealth and telemedicine) is going to take us, it was imperative that the VVCA create a community where professionals can connect, learn, and grow to catapult forward into the next decade, into the future of virtual care delivery.

“Community is how we are able to advance, community is how we are able to innovate and we are just on the cusp of this forward-looking trajectory. Advances inside a profession are not created in silos,” said Ali McIntyre, Executive Director of the VVCA. “Telemedicine is here to stay – for us personally in our own health, and for the health of our pets. Consumer demand won’t let us go backward at this point.”

The new membership, which includes access to the VVCA Community built on Mighty Networks™, will provide member-only engagement, peer-to-peer conversations, deeper learning, exclusive interviews and networking groups. Membership requires a more formal registration process than last year, but only takes a few minutes and is easy and painless using the Join Us link on vvca.org. Membership to the VVCA has a minimal fee associated and there will be ample discounts available in 2021 through other professional associations and sponsors.

The VVCA is a membership-based organization open to all students, veterinarians, practices, allied organizations and technology providers. The VVCA partners with industry leaders, licensed professionals and technology platforms to find innovative solutions to transform how veterinarians bring the highest quality, convenient and affordable care in every community.
