Krupp is a proven leader with over two decades of U.S. and international experience in medical device sales management, education & training, product marketing, and strategic partnership and alliance development.

The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF), the leading private and independent organization funding orthopaedic research across all subspecialties, is pleased to welcome Dan J. Krupp as its new Vice President of Corporate Relations, Innovation & Partnership Development.

In a statement about the addition of Mr. Krupp to his executive team, OREF CEO Lee Grossman noted, “Mr. Krupp has had a successful and diverse career with leading medical device and orthopaedic companies, including U.S. Surgical, Zimmer, DePuy J&J, and Conformis. Dan’s experience and the skill sets he developed with these world-class companies and start-ups will serve OREF, our supporters and partners well.”

In this newly created role, Krupp will establish partnerships with medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, allied associations, and others to expand musculoskeletal research. Krupp is a proven leader with over two decades of U.S. and international experience in medical device sales management, education & training, product marketing, and strategic partnership and alliance development.

Mr. Krupp stated, “Orthopaedic research and clinical studies are the foundation for product and procedure development that advances patient care. Studies show that one in two adults in the United States suffers from musculoskeletal issues. Orthopaedic research is more critical now than ever before and I am honored and humbled to be a part of the OREF with its long history of supporting orthopaedic research and clinician-scientist career development.”

In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Krupp volunteers his time with Willing Warriors, a non-profit organization providing our country’s recovering wounded, ill and injured warriors with encouragement, support, and respite stays at the Bull Run Warrior Retreat in Haymarket, VA.
