“I’m overjoyed that PRMI was named one of Utah’s Healthiest Companies,” said VP of Human Resources Carrie Johansen. “We work hard to help employees feel their best and in turn, do their best.” Two years ago, PRMI brought on their Health and Wellness Coordinator to focus on initiatives that help employees reach their personal health and fitness goals. “We have seen incredible benefits come from this addition to our team and we’re eager to see the continued growth it will bring to PRMI,” said Johansen.

Due to COVID-19, PRMI’s corporate office transitioned to remote working at the beginning of 2020. At that point, the organization took the initiative to make it a positive and healthy experience for each employee. Team members were provided with resources on telehealth for physical and mental needs and at-home workout programs. Employees were also invited to participate in two separate virtual 5K races to keep moving and to stay connected.

In 2021, the company is continuing its focus on health and wellness with a companywide weekly step-count challenge. Corporate employees were gifted a Fitbit Inspire 2 and encouraged to achieve 10K steps every day. Throughout the year, PRMI will continue offering their on-site health services such as biannual dental cleanings, mobile mammograms and biometric screenings.
